Hmm, when Mafia Strongman pretty much knows who to kill, it's easy to use the role on the right target ... on the other hand Vigiliant uses it more "blindly".
But don't forget Vigilant is an extra day kill ... while when Strongman isn't an extra kill.

Yep its is an extra day kill but its never certain if it kills a townie or Mafia so the fact that it is an extra kill is slightly negated. But I think the strongman balances it out as it is a definite townie kill. There is always the chance that the mafia could be impeded somehow in any of the nights. I think a definite townie kill for the Mafia is more or less equal to a uncertain extra kill for the townies.

I have this doubt. The text said that once he uses his ability, he turns into a regular magia. He'd still keep the "strongman" name, right?

Strongman is OP? Depends on the contexts ... so not OP at all. Might be a good ability, used on the right timing ... but not game changing in anyway, specially when everyone can predict that it was used, if someone goes differently. It would be op if townies didn't know about it, but since they do ... it's just ok.

Well, the other time you were mafia, you couldn't hit a BP (niichan) and then you needed to get him killed during the day (or kill Charlie and some other person, wich you did) so you could try to win. If you were a strongman, it would be game changing.

Well, the other time you were mafia, you couldn't hit a BP (niichan) and then you needed Charlie to die so you could try to win. If you were a strongman, it would be game changing.

I don't really see why it matters whether a Strongman keeps his title or not after usage. if the Strongman uses his ability on a "wasted target", e.g. one not being protected or having the bulletproof role, then why do people even care if the Strongman was used or not? Having some uncertainty is necessary for Mafia sides in games. If the Strongman kills a target not in need of a Strongman performing the killing, again, all you will know is that "there was a Strongman in the game!" if you kill the Strongman, and like I said it's in the game's best interest to have some mystery. In the other scenario, where the Strongman kills a target in need of the Strongman's power, e.g. a doctor protected target or the bulletproof, then it's obvious the Strongman was used if the doctor has enough info about his sanity to make a case, or the bulletproof had come out of the closet.

As it stands now I think the Strongman has a good role description.

Yeah, that's what I had in my mind as a side-strategy. Target someone well-trusted early on when no one has come out claiming the roles yet. One or two Doctors will probably end up trying to protect that guy, and you will kill him, so that you can hope to deceive a sane Doctor into the lie that he is insane. In the case that there is another Insane Doctor in the game, then, one of these guys could be lynched thanks to this misunderstanding at some point.

I have reasons to ask that Anyway, I just PMed Niichan about it.
Edit: Just saw Niichan's answer, rs. I dunno about the others, but I had a specific reason to ask that.

I dont agree much, i think its a good role and can save a mafia in many ways and change the game too.
