I think that Tsukki's brother is kinda pathetic... I mean, in the whole world there are people that excels in talent and people that work really hard although they're average at the best. It's no different in sports, even if Tsukki's brother was a good player, there were a lot of players even better than him, he shouldn't be ashamed of his position as a benched player, he was good enough to be there. It's impossible that everyone in a team can be at the court at the same time. For those who can't stand at the court as a regular, what they need is train even harder and support his mates because all of them are part of the same team.

That's my way of thinking, though :P

PS. it was a sad chapter, though and i could feel Tsukki's pain and disappointment.

I think his brother was trapped into what is thought was a small lie. Then he couldn't get back without deceiving his brother and his own pride. That is something I can understand and is more common than we think.

I thought that was the thing too, especially in the one panel where it seemed like his brother was trying to hold back when it zoomed on his face at one point.

Why would we hate you? That's it! XD
There is no reason to be ashamed, even if you are not in the bench. You're helping the team even so with your cheer.
As I said, I also think that he could have said the truth since the begining, Tsukishima would understand.

Tsukishima's situation now is quite different, he is a regular already and he doesn't lose to Hinata, even if it seems. Hinata has talent, but he is clumsy yet, Tsukishima wins in skill so far and he has talent, too, if he take seriously. He has the height and ability to be a great blocker, the best in the team. The defense is the best attack.
He will make points as much as Hinata with this.

I've never been a fan of Tsukishima, but he is becoming nice now. :P

It doesn't have an anime thread yet. It will have when the season which it will be aired begin.

By the way, very early PV, they want to promote it as much as possible and turn it the next Kuroko no Basket.
Good PV to the first one, but this spike seems more awesome in the manga. XD

I'm not sure you have to super sensitive about just a preview. If there were people not interested, then they don't really have to watch it. Plus, I think it is too early for making Haikyuu's anime thread since it still has long time to wait for it; I think no one even make thread for upcoming winter animation, yet.

Greeeat PV, I loved it xD Production IG is amazing, the animation is awesome. And i liked how Hinata's voice is sounding more like Rui Rui from Gatchaman than Haru from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Ayumu is doing a great job too.

Chapter 89

This chapter was cooler than the previous ones, but interesting even so. Well said, what lacks in Tsukishima is that moment when you get addicted, that moment of success when you really like what you did and wants more. Just waiting for his first "kill block".

Tsuki, Bokuto, and Kuroo are really the three best none lead characters on their team (or I guess Kuroo is kind of the lead since hes paired with Kenma). Then again there is also Oikawa and Iwaizumi. But in event, these three this arc are pretty funny, helping Tsuki along and giving him advice. The panel with Tsuki scaring Bokuto so fast was incredible. If he can be this focused in a match, Tsuki could really be a powerful force against Hinata. I wonder if Tsuki is also being set up to potentially be a leader on the team. Best leadership potential among the first years.
