Just wondering. Are Nisekois sales going down or something? As the spin of with magical girl Kosaki is uncensored in the volume releases...
So... To Love Ru Darkness route confirmed? :kappa

That moment when you read Nisekoi and suddenly: Progress.
Didn't expect to witness a confession that soon. Go Yui! :blai

Apart from that Marika sure is adorable... She can't be honest either, can she?

Marika = best girl, because she has the balls to confess her love.

Call me crazy, but are we having actual development. This chapter made the manga so much more interesting again.

That was good development, only bad thing is that the moment he said he had someone he liked I knew he was gonna see Chitoge's face. The series always use the harem cliches as straigh as possible, but they always a had charm, this time it just felt way too mechanical and charmless, it was just the thing to do because cliche dictated it.

So with this last chapter is seems like we have two years until Marika appears again...

Who else is calling a time-skip of sorts? Maybe not the foredooming chapter, but at some point soon in the series. Though a time-skip on the 4 year anniversary of the series could also be very fitting.

Rant incoming:no:no:no(not because of that)
Well Chitoge just won:-_- and any feelings Raku said he had for Onodera just got flushed down the toilet. I always knew Chitoge was going to be the final girl, but the way he dismiss Onodera really left a bad taste in my mouth and confirm that she was really not needed. Raku discovers his feelings of "true love" because he feels "relax" around her and because she brought him a soda without him telling her, lets ignore the fact the Raku was willing to abandon the locket he had for years and meant a lot to him just because he wanted to be with Onodera on Christmas and say that he never truly loved her(even though Marika said his feelings were real). While I knew Chitoge was going to be with Raku in the end I though we were finally getting into the real meat of the story were Raku had to make the decision between two girls he truly loved and we would get to see him grow into a mature person who can deal with this thought situation and not a copout decision were he discovers he never loved one of them because of soda:-_-. I swear if Onodera confesses to Raku and he starts hesitating and doubting himself after all this inner monologue he just had about this being "true love" I will give this series the honor of being the third manga I ever drop. Lets give a round of applause to Onodera the most useless character ever:-_-,I like her but she never provided anything to the story and if Raku never had real feelings for her she leaves absolutely no impact unlike the other harem girls who always brought something forth even if they were never serious contenders.
Guess the ending is coming, ever read a manga that can be so mind-numbingly slow and infuriately rush at the same time?

It's good that i dropped it during the Marika rescue arc, makes me feel free and happier.

best chapter of nisekoi ever, honestly i havent posted on this site in a long time, yet this chapter was so good that i HAD to come back and say something

TEAM CHITOGE FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the biggest reason this makes me happy, other than the fact that i have been pulling for chitoge the whole time, is that you can genuinely tell that this is who raku really loved, onodera is the biggest casualty here, but her role as the "budding romance that didnt bloom" was necessary for the story. people often forget about the ones who lose in these stories, but regardless of that. raku/chitoge is the perfect couple im am excessively happy with this ending

just incase the 24 hour rule is still in place

any way im glad that i continued to read this manga, it will probably wrap up on chapter 200, i cannot wait to read it!!!!!

This is an example of really bad and problematic writing. In a series where the character was already in love with the love of his life in chapter one this gorilla appears and somehow manages to get my Ichijou to somehow develop feelings in this fake romance? There is no way that this would happen in real life, there is no way that this should be happening. The writer has clearly never experienced how real people love and how powerful crushes are. No way would this happen.

I cant believe I poured in three years of my time following this manga. I figured he wouldnt have the courage to give us a Ichijou x Shuu outcome but not even an Ichijou x Onodera outcome, this is blasphemy against Kami-sama.

i dont understand all of the hatred for chitoge, it was fairly obvious throughout this whole thing who was gonna win....

onodera played the role of the budding romance that never blossomed , this is a common trend in romcoms in fact i can think of a couple of major recent romcoms that had the exact thing happen in them, where a main character was in love with one person for the whole manga but both were two shy or afraid to make a move

so to those who say its "bad writing" i would counter that it is cliche, but not necessarily bad

personally i have been on team chitoge the whole way, she is just amazing!!!! i am probably more pumped about the end of this manga than i have been about the end of any other recent mangas, i cannot wait to see how chitoge reacts!!! or how they confess to eachother!!!

I peeked this thread sometimes during my absence just to see how it was doing and it was unfortunate to see that it was becoming a graveyard, but I think that after the best chapter of the entire series I should take a look at it and come back to the forum posting here. You know, this chapter was just to consolidate what we already knew, but the entire chapter was very well constructed to reach the conclusion. The entire chapter was based on Raku reasoning... The photo sticker scene was funny, I mean, Raku hugging her was the best thing ever, but we hadn't reached the best part yet. Probably you guys noticed that Chitoge was sincere this time, she apologized and said the truth, that she was trying to cheer him up, I think it meant that the only thing that remained to Raku finally realize his feelings was that her being honest... It was when he started to think about his feelings for her. He said that it is definitely different from what he feels for Onodera (keep it in mind, this is important), but it was also different from what he feels for Shuu, his best friend. The soda thing was magnificent because it showed that Chitoge is always looking at him, paying attention in everything he does and keeping it in her heart. Finally, Raku's reasoning, remembering the past and how their relationship flourished and the grand finale was the dancing game, which they played a lot, but never finished the final stage; well, this time they finished it, showing without a doubt that they are completely in sync... Again, Raku thinks... All the fun they had, the desire to be together and all... He again says that it is different from what he feels for Onodera (second time!) and for the other girls. And, then the final we already know...
Summarizing and picking the two points I highlighted, what he feels for Chitoge is love, true, real love and it is different from what he feels for Onodera (he said it twice, there is no way to deny it anymore). I repeated here many times that what he felt for Onodera was something like respect and admiration, not true love. This chapter showed it perfectly.... I think now it is clear what is real love...

I don't get all this hate either, that IS good storytelling or did you want the author to trow away almost 200 chapters of development?

Like I said in the past it doesn't matter if something is predictable, what's important is how we get there. For me it was a great journey so far and it made sense.

To be fair, 200 chaps of development is not it. If we are really honest, maybe 100. That is if we ignore all the filler chapters which had no development whatsoever. Just him wasting his time not understanding the feelings of the girls around him. During the last three months it finally became good again although the Marika arc was completely over the top even for this Manga.
IF Raku does choose Chitoge in the end - and I hope this will happen rather soon as I don't want the Mangaka to waste more chapters on Onodera - it was a good call. The only reasonable one as well as Raku and Onodera were just awkward together. There was no "love", just a crush.

Long story short, without all the pointless filler it would've been a way better Manga.

its been a while leo!!! i took a hiatus from MH as well, its good to see that you are still around, it is kind of sad that our nisekoi forum slowed down, but at least we are both here to comment on this upcoming last chapter

i agree with you that this last chapter was well written, i believe nisekoi as a manga gets alot of harsh criticism because the author didnt choose said critic's favorite girl

but when you think about it raku has shown how much he cared about chitoge for a LONG TIME now, he was just to dense or oblivious to recognize it himself

honestly i would say he fell in love with her in the arc with her mom, when he went through all of that bullshit to make it to where she could see her mom

Long time no see! Yes, it was good to take a hiatus of the forum to take care of my life, but now that it is winter break, I'm with more free time than I thought, so why not? It was a great time to come back, don't you think? hahahaha

Indeed... I think that Nisekoi current rankings are because of this, Komi Naoshi already threw Yui and Marika to the corner and Marika had a very strong fanbase, so I think it is understandable... It is no surprise that many harem mangas out there end unsolved, because the author is afraid of this kind of reaction. I'm glad that Komi Naoshi had the courage to do what must be done.

Yes, you are right, their relationship was different from what he feels for the other girls since a long time ago, we could see that they get along well. We cannot forget to thanks Shu and principally Marika for this. Marika not only said her opinion to him precisely and made him think, but also served as inspiration to Chitoge. All this happened because of this, so Marika is the best! XD

Well, I think that a spark was lit already in the Romeo & Juliet arc when he looked for her to substitute Onodera. I think that somehow he felt that if it was with Chitoge, he could handle it. From there, it only got better until reach this point... *-*

And now? What Raku will do? We have a week of hiatus to go through until finding out. It is gonna be a loooong week. XD

I don't know if it is going to have a third season... Apparently the popularity of the second season decreased comparing to the first season and all... =/

it definitely could have been a little bit shorter, not that 200 chapters is a huge amount, but there were several chapters that did not progress the story nor any of the 4 main girls relationship status with raku

^ It's the magazine (weekly shounen jump) that is on break this week because of holidays. The schedule is always unpredictable at the end of the year so scans might be out before the official release.

I hope not, otherwise I will receive spoilers once again. XD
Here in the USA and signed Jump and I'm trying not to read scans, but now I know how people that do this feel. XD

And I don't think that 200 chapters were too much... I think you already know my opinion about this, but I think I will keep with an important argument: it was fun. As long as you think it is fun, length does't matter IMO.
