Not just that, Gray's DES also makes Lyon's ice useless because he can eat it. Now it's interesting whether Gray can eat Silver's ice and vice versa.

Read the battle conditions carefully. Actually there will be several possibilities. What if, after they are given the conditions:

1. Silver quickly teleports himself along with Gray and Ultear to somewhere. After they arrived at someplace, Silver teleports again and take one of them along with him to somewhere. Let's say Silver drops Gray at someplace and takes Ultear with him to someplace. Or he drops Ultear off and takes Gray with him to someplace. Then basically this is a battle between Silver and Gray or Silver and Ultear. Or
2. Because both Silver and Lyon know that Ultear has advantage over ice wizards, they two just freeze their blood and use it as blade to attack team 1 like Gray did in Sirius Island arc.

1)Gray and Ultear aren't going to be standing there with fingers up their butt, waiting for Silver to teleport them.
and Lyon's ice is useless against Gray.

Because both Silver and Lyon know that Ultear has advantage over ice wizards, they two just freeze their blood and use it as blade to attack team 1 like Gray did in Sirius Island arc.

Since it's a tag team battle, Gray could deal with these blades. Since he is an ice mage himself, he can just crush these blades. I can't see Lyon or Silver defeat Ultear with just this attack, to be honest.

I'd go with Gray and Ultear. Gray has surpassed Lyon since he uses Ice Devil Slayer Magic. Lyon can't do a lot against him since Gray can eat his ice. Gray and Silver are equals, I guess. They both use the same magic. Ultear could make spells from Silver vanish. Meanwhile, Gray can take him down.

It's hard. I don't like battles with Silver because we don't know his real power. That's why results will be questionable. But:
1. Between the time when Gray became a devil slayer and the time of his battle with Mard Geer was a little more time but Gray of course with Natsu's help overcame Mard Geer. Silver is much stronger than Gray and much more experienced. Silver was able to defeat Mard Geer very easy i think.
2. Silver had to know about power of each member of Tartar including Mard Geer. And Silver was going to destroy Tartar by himself. This is already proof of Silver's strength. And Silver had a demon form, teleport, telepathy and only Mashima knows what else. Besides Silver is very fast. We don't know whether Gray has demon form or not. I think he has.
3. We don't know how strong Gray now. But if he is so strong as Natsu - I don't know how the battle will end. For me serious Silver is stronger.
4. Ultear is stronger than Leon.
5. Base Gray is stronger than Leon.
6. Battle among SIlver and Ultear will end by one shot.
At the end I think it's not team battle. It's battle between Silver and Gray and of course I give my voice to Silver.

1. Silver is stronger than Ice Make Gray, Silver is not superior than DeS Gray. Infact DeS Gray is logically more powerful than Silver. Silver didn't even battle Mard Geer. Silver may be holding back against Ice Make Gray, it's not to a large extent, and since this is VS thread, we have to look at his overall feats in that context, not speculation.

2. Mard Geer knows of Silver's power, he would not have him join his guild if it meant the destruction of his guild. Marde Geer isn't that stupid. Gray has stated to have a trick up his sleeves and in drive mode, shown to have demonic features so clearly he has a demon form from all of that foreshadowing.

3. We don't know how strong Gray now. But if he is so strong as Natsu - I don't know how the battle will end. For me serious Silver is stronger.

6. Ultear isn't getting oneshotted by Silver.

At the end of the day, Silver won't have the luxury of overwhelming Gray becasue now he's facing DeS Gray, and Des Gray attacks should very much hamper Silver and oneshot him. I mean his ice make attack did, and so DeS attack would surely replicate that same feat.

I agree for the most part. If we look into the rules again, Silver can contact Lyon via telepathy and order him to stay at his position, and then handle Gray and Ultear. Silver would know he may have a tough battle with Gray, because they two are a slayer and we don't know if Gray has demon form like you assumed. Silver also would know if Lyon will lose against both Gray and Ultear, simply because Gray is a slayer and Ultear has Arc of Time. So Silver would target Ultear. Ultear has magic that would nullify all Silver's ice spells so that molding magic is useless against her. Last options are their mastery at hand-to-hand combatant and Silver's trump card: his demon form. Most likely Silver would go with his demon form because he has to make it short. The estimated time is only 5 minutes. So basically we also can say this battle is Silver vs Ultear in the end. Quite difficult to choose. Phew

This is massive overrating of Silver. Do you expect him to handle Current DeS Gray (a extremely more powerful version of the Gray that fought silver) and Ultear's TOA/Orbs and versaility and get off scot-free? Lyon is pretty much oneshottable, so Gray can blitz Lyon regardless of Silver's telepathy. Plus it takes time for Lyon to get Silver's message through.
Des Gray current is arguably more powerful than Silver especially Logically speaking.
Gray has stated to have a trick up his sleeves and in drive mode, shown to have demonic features so clearly he has a demon form from all of that foreshadowing, and the poster you quoted said he may have a demon form.
We go by feat perspective, so hence while Silver may have the demon form, he has not shown any feats of it. and why do you expect, Silver vs Ultear in the end? does Gray randomly forfeit the match for the lulz?
Ultear can distract Silver enough for Gray to replicate the clone feat and oneshot Silver too, that's another scenario. It really isn't difficult to choose here.
This is pretty much a mid diff win for Graytear. Logically.

I don't understand why so many people are underestimating Ultear. She can't be one shotted or defeated easily. In fact, all the other mages in this battle should watch out for here. Ice Magic is in a huge disadvantage against Arc of Time. What if Ultear makes all the spells from Silver or Lyon vanish? Yeah, they could use the same trick as Gray by using their blood, but Silver can't use blood in his destructive spells since he'd die himself. They can't defeat Ultear just by using a spear or a sword. Ultear has the upper hand in this battle.

Lyon is far under the rest. His magic is in a disadvantage against both Gray and Ultear. They can take him with easy diff.

Gray and Ultear can work together. Ultear makes the spell from Silver vanish and Gray takes him down in DeS form.

Ultear & Gray > Silver & Lyon mid diff thanks to Ultear.

Going for Gray and Ultear. I think Gray should have surpassed or at least be on par with Silver right now. Lyon got a lot stronger but Ultear is quite powerful herself and has a very troublesome magic.
