Once more Komi Naoshi was perfect... It is incredible how he conducts the chapters in such a way that makes everything so well developed. First it seemed like that Ruri would lead the search for Rosa's parents because she knew English (Chitoge and Tsugumi best teachers!) and all, but behind the scenes Shu was moving in a much more effective way... It is remarkable how he conducted the search and gathered more information from Rosa without even talking to her! He is thoughtful and a good observer, he knows well how to deal with children, it seems. Shu's information network was awesome (weeell, a bit creepy as well. XD) and they are almost finding Rosa's parents already. But the whole point of all this was to make Ruri see that Shu is more than he shows to everyone. She really went in the spot, he is not someone who tells people what he is thinking (see what I said above?) and his actions can be misinterpreted because of this, but he is really a very nice that also improved a lot looking up to Raku. Ruri, smart as she is, was unexpectedly biased with Shu all this time and she admited this in this chapter. Finally, she asked the question that everybody wanted to see... It was not a "I like you, date me!", but it was Ruri-like... XD
Why he tells her things that even Raku doesn't know? What Shu is going to answer?

ruri asked shu, why is it that you always talk to me about these things?
shu is going to say something along the lines of "you are the only girl i can talk to about these kind of things" or "i really admire and respect your opinions"

or he may even flat out confess

at which point they will get together

he earned her respect , and he made her reflect on herself, she realized that she hadnt given him a fair chance, and that the whole perverted goofball stuff was an act and mainly just for fun, i mean it is part of his personality, but he is a much deeper person than that

This week's chapter was of the best chapters I read, not only in Nisekoi, but in mangas as a whole. Shu's answer was not the same as we predicted, but it was near enough, he just said the same thing with other words and it was a very Shu-like answer. Again Komi Naoshi made a chapter with a perfect environment, putting Rosa to act as an extremely cute cupid and saying stuff with her innocence. Ruri said mean things to Shu when he started to play around again, she didn't want to, but the words just spilled out... Ruri really knows how to control herself, but this time the emotions took control of her... I don't think she said all that just to be mean, it was more like an advice to Shu, I really tough one, but an advice... Shu went away after this, but he came back right after showing her maturity once again... At that moment when Rosa was almost caught up by a car I almost have a cardiac arrest (Komi Naoshi made me become attached to her in just a few chapters!) and many things passed through my mind. Although it is not Nisekoi style I really thought that Shuu would save her at the expense with his own well-being, I saw a Ruri cyring over his body... D:
I cannot deny that it would be interesting, but Rosa's rescue served its purpose even without all this drama... Ruri finally admited that she has fallen for Shuu... *-*
And now what? Komi Naoshi will continue focusing on them, or he will stay it as it is and focus on another thing for now? I'm conflicted...

I think that now she will realize that things are not that simple because she always complained about Onodera's lack of action (cannot blame her, she really does not act), so we could expect some action from her since the beginning. Will she be straight and say "I like you, marry me!". XD

but i think she will be a bit more shy, i think shu is going to make her day by looking at her and saying " i think i have already met the girl of my dreams" or some corny shit, and then she will punch him, followed by a kiss

True, it is really hard to read Shu, but given what he always did towards Ruri, he may know that he likes her... Let's see how the next steps will be...

How are the two girls going to try to confess now? Will that wind up being alone with eachother first and try to talk to eachother about it? Will the first girl to confess win? Will raku confess first

I honestly dont even know!!!

I dont' know how many times Komi Naoshi used the same idea, that there is something that boost the happiness of a relationship, but I'm fine with this and it seems that this time we will have something serious. Those three are alone in the school so it is going to be a bit difficult to get separated and arrange a way to confess... I don't think that Raku will confess, he is too indecisive por that, so what's left is one of them get to confess, at that time Raku will have to decide what he wants very fast. Shu tried to put some reasoning in him, but it was no use...Anyway, one image in this chapter makes clear who has more chance of success.

See the expression of "I can do it!" of Chitoge and the expression of "I almost giving up of this crazy idea" of Onodera. I know that this subject is recurring here, but it is clear and there is no way not talking about this difference. Seriously, she had the perfect chance in the Christmas arc, if she didn't confess there, she will not confesse this time as well.

I didnt notice the difference in the two girls expressions until you pointed it out, is almost as if chitoge is motivated and onodera is trying to giver herself a pep talk or is doubting herself

It is obvious now which girl will win

It's been more than a year since I read this manga, it's every hard to believe the manga forum has been reduced to this state.

Since that promise both Chitoge and Onodera made to help each other in their love I was predicting that it would happen... That one of them would discover, in some way, by the mouth of the other that they like the same person. Before I enter in the chapter, I would like to say that the Komi Naoshi choice was a good one, despite of risky for Team Chitoge. He chose for Chitoge discovering by the mouth of Onodera. It was a shock to Chitoge and we will see her entire reaction next week, but the possibility that it is going to crush her spirit is high, but smaller if it were the other way around. If it were the contrary, Onodera would give up on Raku almost immediately really, we know her enough to say that, with maybe Ruri encouraging her to be strong. Chitoge on the other hand, is stronger and the possibility that she will fight for her love is higher, although she will be fighting against her best friend. And now we enter in the first part of the chapter when Chitoge made it clear: Onodera is her best friend and Raku is her love, the most important friends she has was in that room. It was brought to make clear that the shock for Chitoge will not be light... She will suffer, something I don't like to see, but I think she will come back victorious from all this. Be strong Chitoge! ^-^

So does she race to confess first? Does she let onodera find out if raku loves her back?

It's been more than a year since I read this manga, it's every hard to believe the manga forum has been reduced to this state.

Its not that surprising, certain fans were allied with certain girls, when those girls were eliminated from the competition the fans lost intetest

I loved the plot progression in this chapter, does onodera have the guts to confess when raku wakes up? Or would the timing not be right?

Onodera is really good at saying her feelings when Raku is sleeping, so what if Raku trolled her (unconsciously, but...) and woke up right when she was looking at the sky and saying such things? We cannot discard this possibility. What would Raku do in such situation? Raku could really accept Onodera, in the heat of the moment and this really would crush Chitoge spirit, but it is unlikely to happen.
Another thing I thought (prepare yourselves because I thought only in tragedies today XD) was the possibility that a thunder would howl and Chitoge would forget where she is, in a stair, and then... Well, let's save the rest for the case it actually happens. I HOPE NOT.

but chitoge should still be the favorite, i am interested how she will handle the issue of her best friend since high school (tsugumi obviously being her best freind from the past) liking the same guy as her....
