Laxus has a crazy amount of fans on here... Erza or Gray would come next. Natsu and Mira are somewhere after them to me. Lucy's fans just be chilling, causing no problems.

While some of Mystogan's fans are still weeping because of what happened to him, and hoping that he'll be somewhat help Jellal of defeating August.

Isn't this fight more Wendy and Sherria vs Dimaria? We even had Belnika run through by a lazer beam the same way Carla was halfway through the fight by Dimaria's Chronos form?

Gajeel and Juvia's Fake Deaths - Reina's death

I think only Juvia's death counts as a parallel to Reina's death, you even had Juvia live on inside Gray the same way Reina lived on in the Silver Ray.

Anyone notice that Mashima is reusing a lot of fights and plot points from Rave Master?

Nothing new, there have been a lot of points from RM reused in FT although the "Natsu's desire to protect Lucy" is used in a lot of series with a main female and male (As cliche as you can get) so that's not just RM based.
I would not say Gajeel's "death" was like Reina's at all though.

I never read Rave Master, but I do hope there aren't many scenes borrowed.

I remember way back a post about Jellal having to defeat someone really strong because he did in Rave (so August in FT... Idk who it was in Rave). Then he would have some role with the final person (Zeref).

Some things are the same? Idk if Jellal and Seighart carry the same weight plot wise.

Yup, it was Haja, Shakuma's student, Shakuma would be August in Fairy Tail, I'm not sure if we have a Haja equivalent, he looks like Hades though? I'm not too sure.
Also, immediately after defeating Haja, Sieg Hart encountered Lucia (who would be Zeref in Fairy Tail), but since he was already battle worn, it wasn't much of a fight.
That's why I wanted Jellal to meet Zeref immediately after the August fight was over but

Yea that's where I read it.

I see so there are some similarities. But also some differences, so it doesn't have to go any way like Rave. Jellal already copped a loss, so he probably has to get back up to win, or he doesn't fight August again.

That's why I wanted Jellal to meet Zeref immediately after the August fight was over but

Honestly, Jellal is probably the character in Fairy Tail who I wouldn't get mad over doing stuff. He's my favorite protagonist so
The guy could solo Acnologia and I'd still be a happy man

Nuh, Gildarts doesn't look like Shuda and if anything Gildarts looks more like Haru's Grandfather. Also Haru thought Shuda was dead and Shuda made a promise to Gale to protect his family. Which is how he started dating Haru's sister.

I thought Shuda and Gale would be Gildarts and Igneel tbh lol.
Since they're both father figures to Natsu.
Plus there's a crack theory that Gildarts is Edolas Igneel

Gildarts already had a fight and Shuda was like an older brother to Haru not a father figure. Gildarts really does look like Haru's Grandfather.

Yeah I remember this, but wasn't this because Shuda was in Demon Card and under King's Direct Command as one of the Oracion Six?
As far as we are concerned, the only person who knows about Larcade and the circumstances of his birth are August....so August will pull a Shuda?

Welcome @Crescent_jinxgrace. Just some tips on surviving the FT section:

1. Don't openly state your bias for your favorite character without having the ammo to back it up. It can get very savage at times if you don't.
2. Don't bash Gray or Erza. Their fans will come out the cut and devour you.
3. Everyone loves Mira. Even if you don't just act like you do.
4. Everyone hates Neinhart. Even if you don't just act like you do.
5. Try not to get triggered off people's opinions. Everyone reads FT a different way so it's a polarizing fandom.
6. Don't get in the arguments with wild bias fanboys/fangirls/shippers. RIP.
7. Prepare yourself for the like-fest. For example, I can say "Kagura has the best ass in FT" and I would get 10 likes from the jump.
8. Not allowed to trash Natsu. He's the best character in the manga so if anyone tells you differently they're lying.
9. Never forget Harmabe got killed in the summer before he went off to college.
10. Trump will destroy my country.
11. Warriors blew a 3-1 lead.
