For the same reason Medaka Box got an anime at the same time: last chance. Medaka Box was not that lucky and was cut right after. No dude... I'm asking... If it were so bad, WHY IT RECEIVED AN ANIME? Answer me that. It's simple lol.
I could not care less about an already ended series ranking lol.
If it's anything like the last golf manga in Jump (that I remember), Rising Impact, it could be a lot of fun. And it's got a better chance than most sports manga in Jump. The "unconventional" sports seem to do the best overall in Jump.So whats the expectation going into the golf manga in two weeks?

Given the fact that it's getting serialized on the same week as the KnB movie, they're definitely still relying on the KnB fujoshis to at least check it out.Low expectations.
Again another series that is treated like some kind of masterpiece without deserving such treatment. Kuroko no Basket was dead last for a long time before the anime comes out and the fujoishis discover it and save it from complete oblivion.
Well, you've made me feeling a bit optimistic. If it's anything like the last golf manga in Jump (that I remember), Rising Impact, it could be a lot of fun. And it's got a better chance than most sports manga in Jump. The "unconventional" sports seem to do the best overall in Jump.
Right... Kuroko was "bad" like Medaka... Greatest comparison EVER.For the same reason Medaka Box got an anime at the same time: last chance. Medaka Box was not that lucky and was cut right after.
If Shueisha had the chance to make an anime and extract some money from it, why not? But I don't that they expected a success like this.

You're correct, the animation company offers it to create another product, but the manga company accept to promote the first one, not because they are "good guys" =)The point of an anime isn't to make a series more popular, it's for the animation company to make their own product and sell it. If the only thing an anime does is sell more copies of the manga, then the anime is considered a failure. I don't get why everyone thinks publishers "give" series anime to promote them, it's the animation company that has to offer to animate it.
I didn't hate his archery oneshot, one of the mcs was annoying crybaby, but he might have grown on me like Zenitsu from KnYI'm not not interested because it's golf, I'm not interested because Fujimaki's a hack.
it's Kaiu's comment tho, he might be talking about losing the eraser when writing the script or making the namusand Posuka Demizu's comment sound like the artist use tradition paper/ink![]()
The studio offers, but the publisher accepts it. It must be a mutually beneficial relationship and if the proposal is not good, the publisher can and will refuse it. We don't have information about this, but it is sure happens. Since we are talking about Jump and Shueisha, it is obvious that we ara going to talk about the publisher aspect of the thing. The ones who decide such things is the publisher, they are the ones who make sure the proposal is good AND the series is ready for an anime, therefore, they give it the chance. The point of an anime isn't to make a series more popular, it's for the animation company to make their own product and sell it. If the only thing an anime does is sell more copies of the manga, then the anime is considered a failure. You're right. I did like that Vanguard Archer oneshot. Shame that Blech Clover would prevent it from success.I didn't hate his archery oneshot, one of the mcs was annoying crybaby, but he might have grown on me like Zenitsu from KnY

When it comes to ranking, yes, it was as bad as Medaka Box. Let me explain again, we are talking about rankings here, NUMBERS, not which one was the best series plotwise or anything. We are talking plain and simple numbers. If you deny that, you just don't know how to read numbers.Right... Kuroko was "bad" like Medaka... Greatest comparison EVER.
