1: Wahl is Belno's son, and Gajeel is the one to fight him. After having his ass kicked, Gajeel is on the ground, takes a look at Wahl, remembers Belno's description of her son, and tells Wahl about her death. We get a single panel of Wahl being shocked and actually caring for a moment, before he brushes it off and goes back to normal, takes on a transformation again, and punches Gajeel. Gajeel bites his hand off, eats the metal, and goes into DF.
2: The Gods of Ishgar's battle with God Serena is actually shown, and isn't as much of a stomp as it appears, with him mostly enduring their attacks and countering when available, Warrod is a valued support, Jura offers most of their ranged damage, Wolfheim is the close range, while the random vampire dude O can never remember acts as a general disabler and nuker. The fight stretches over a long time, constantly going back every chapter or two to give us updates, However, he never uses his DS magic until the end, when it does go full stomp, instead using whatever lightning magic he was shown using in that one panel where his hands sparking and he's laughing at them. THEN it goes into the stomp we all know about.
3: Instead of simply learning and countering all magic, August absorbs the magic of the dead, as shown by his line about Serena living on in him. August only fights the Crime Sorcier's underling members, not Jellal, and uses some of the magic Brain used on them. After fighting Gildarts, he goes on to fight Laxus and Jellal together, struggling a little more due to being speed blitzed, though in the end he still wins. Goes around the battlefield taking out members of FT systematically, before surrendering after Zeref's defeat, seeing no reason to go on anymore.
4: Dimaria permanently loses her God Takeover abilities due to Chelia's attack, and instead goes on to show her swordsmanship we saw briefly. Has a fight with Brandish, where we get a little comedy involved where Brandish shrinks them and they fight on Lucy's chest before Lucy breaks them up.
5: Instead of just being a Tartarus smoothie, Bradman's power is based off of a lesser version of Zeref's, being imprinted on a child in an attempt for him to push the Ankhseram curse out of himself and into them. Laxus fights him, and his condition from the MBP's plus the curse of Zeref only makes it worse on him.
6: Rogue's Shadow comes into play, revealing itself to be the lost lives Ankhseram took, granting power to those on the brink of darkness. When Makarov dies, in a much more dramatic and brutal fashion than he actually did, Laxus is temporarily corrupted by the Shadow, but he subdues it and makes it's power into his own, the Shadow curing him of his illnesses in exchange for letting him be a host.
7: Mirajane uses more of her absorbed demon powers than just Algeria.
8: Irene's two underlings are still swords, but use light and darkness powers instead, and fight Sting and Rogue. It goes relatively even, until they unveil that they had copied Natsu's LFDM and show their HSDM's and then beat them down.
9: Neinheart brings back the Nine Demon Gates to fight for him, with Gray taking them on, defeating them all one by one.
10: Erza doesn't dispel the Historia group with some angry glare, she actually has to fight them all together, losing in the end, but Kagura steps up and finishes the fight.
11: Jellal uses the whole barrage of attacks he wasted on Acnologia on Neinheart, and finishes with Grand Chariot, sending him crashing into the sea floor and fracturing it.
There's about fifty others but that'd take too long.
