It's probably meant to be more like a final arc than a proper part 2, it's just that the focus and goal changed enough that it'd have felt weird for it to just continue on normally.

a lot of people are complaining about "too much sports manga"
but Hinomaru & Shoodan don't have much left and we don't know how well will Full Drive do, we might go back to the days of Furudate vs Fujimaki sooner than you think

I enjoyed Full Drive and i hope it takes off. I don't feel anything in Robot x Laserbeam anymore and haven't pick up Haikyuu! after the Neko matches around chapter 200.

Not sure if I should laugh or cry.

It's actually amazing to see that Fujimaki left and returned during Furudate's serialization. Now to see if RxL will actually become competition for Haikyuu just like Kuroko.

I don't know about Kuroko no Basket although I'm critical of its overpower, but Robot x Laserbeam has been pretty enjoyable and I don't think it is going too overboard. I think it has a chance. It already sells more than the majority of the sports manga at its age due to the author popularity.

I’ll just take a wild guess that in the Viz version she didn’t call him a “dumbass” and call his racket “shitty”.

I would rather watch Boruto than DB:S tbvh. Not to say Boruto is good, it's awful too.

Not even a big fan of the character models of Dragon Ball Super, they look weird. I don't get why Toei makes their muscle glisten that much it looks awkward. Their older designs look waaaay better (its fanart but you get the point)

Despite the generic structure, Full Drive has potential, it is easy to read, the characters have charisma, but for now it was more cool poses and speeches, the sport itself did not make me feel anything.

Full Drive's first chapter came across as a done in one chapter to me. It'll probably take more chapters but as it stands now, in my opinion, Full Drive is kind of boring and kind of uninteresting for now. I do kind of have a slight grievance with the art that may change later on but most the motion lines made it kind of hard for me to follow what was going on.

Boruto is okay for what it is so far.
It doesn't have any glaring inconsistencies and the cast interaction feel fresh and geniuine. The characters lack the charm of the Naruto cast but I'm confident they will get their moment to shine down the line, just like in the original series. It's nicely animated and directed too.

DBS is like 115 episodes in as it's been a mishmash of fanfic tier writing and weird characters and transformations just for the sake of selling toys and other merchandise. I absolutely despise the way it looks as you righfully mention.

Not only that, but some of the writing has been awful so far. The Zamasu arc is a prime example. I enjoyed the two-ep special and you can find nice moments here and there, but that's about it.

The memes are funny though. Gohan Blanco and El Grande Padre are literally the best thing ever.

Boruto reminding its viewers of Part 1 Naruto is one of the better things from the anime I can say. It easily lacks the charm of the previous cast but the characters as a whole surpass the old because of lesser issues among them. Naruto's characters individually are some of my fav of all time but its cast sucked as a group and of what they accomplished. This Team 7 has been much easier to watch and bear. Still, some of the best parts of the anime have been when the previous cast shows up, just look at my avatar for proof.

Im interested in how Kawada is going to handle the becoming a Yokozuna thing. Theyre seen as omnipotent in the sport, and just a few lucky wins wont cut it. A wrestler is expected to have an almost perfect record in a considerable amount of consecutive tournaments to be considered in a league of their own. They should be able to consistently defeat everyone except for the Current Yokozuna, who they should at least win against as often as they lose. In addition, there should be no faults in their ettiquette.

Unless hes decides to copout and be lenient like the Oozumou association did recently with the latest Yokozuna. Though considering all his rivals, that seems unlikely.
Tennouji and Kuze are already Oozeki, so its likely theyll become Yokozuna well before Ushio, Kuze could even become one at the end of this fight (having been paying attention as to whether theyve said how well he’s been doing). They were also hyping up how far Ushio will go in the next tournament because he already flubbed this one with 3 losses.

I dont even think Ushio is in the highest Makuuchi rank yet, considering hes already fought 15 times this tournament (normally one per day for 15 days), yet didnt fight Tennouji, Kuze or Jinou and had 3 no named characters defeat him.

Because Toriyama changed his artstyle and is making them in that way for years, look at Jaco's manga for example or his original designs for super. In fact, in the anime they're much more bigger than what Toriyama design them originally so yeah, they're just following his design.

I don't think Golem Hearts will feel very similar to One Piece outside of the adventure aspects.

But I really wanted an adventure series.(although I suppose Black Clover is somewhat one).

MHA is great an all, but I when characters never stay in the same settings and are always moving towards new and unique locations. Something I love about One Piece, and loved about Dragon Ball
I noticed that they're all amateurish and get canceled (Demons Plan and Red Sprite were trying to go for that adventure route).

Not WSJ but does anyone read Black Torch? Imagine if that was in Jump, I know a certain Bleach tard that would be all over that
