Isn't Spring Weapon a low page-count gag manga? Why do y'all get so upset that it's still around? It won't leave enough space for anything other than another gag manga y'all will complain about...
It's full page count. Like Saiki.

I'm sure it's a great series. The chapter for OP's 20th anniversary was fucking hilarious. But it's treatment is nothing short of a miracle. It can't even be compared to the likes of Samon or HZ.

Truly an anomaly of Jump.

Spring Weapon done okay earlier but Cross Account is consistently above it now, it hasn't had a high rank in a good few weeks. I think it's sold worse than every other cancelled series since it started but now it's not even getting the occasional high ranks to justify continuing to outlast them.
Cross Account may be outselling it, but Cross Account has been in the bottom 3 for months and usually takes the last position. I'm assuming the upcoming series Act-age is going to fill the void that Cross Account will leave, but that's a bit of speculation on my part. Spring Weapon is decently funny, and I'm assuming stuff like Spring Weapon and Lycopene is used to appeal to younger children who read Jump. A lot of crazy character designs, physical gag humor, and potty humor

I feel like more people from around here are just curious about it, including myself, but I have seen plenty of people hate on Spring, despite not being able to read it.

I don't think SW#1 is decent, I don't think it's even mediocre, I think it's pretty uninspired and repetitive

for an SD gag manga there are more entertaining stuff in Saikyo and Corocoro than SW#1

TPN is The Toriko Method done right: it got a push and... it worked!
Isn't TPN sellin the same or just a little bit higher than Toriko at that same time? And the promotion of Toriko, the one where people love to say it was pushed to be "the next big thing" only happened in the 3rd year when Toriko got its anime series.

Also Toriko, by TPN Time had a ton of rankings better than TPN and even got anime OVA in what is now Jump Festa. So nope I wouldn't say that TPN is the Toriko methos done right. At all.

It's not exactly wrong, the MAL thread just record whenever it's on the Manga Sale Ranking chart. But it's a good cutoff(?) :p

It didnt even do that lol. Like the first 2 volumes sold roughly 140k before dropping off but the MAL thread just covered the first week.

BTW, Golem Hearts came out yesterday on Jaimini. Didn't see anyone else mention it so I thought I would point it out.

It is far from a failure too.

Casterly Rock
Toriko's push was similar to BC. It had lots of colours and was sometimes the cover but not the lead colour. Its rankings were also consistently high. They pushed it but it was mostly in the magazine itself. Besides the Jump festa OVA, there wasn't too much of other media push like TV spots, etc.

Neverland is a totally different case. People say that its doing well without an anime but I'd argue that it better be doing that well given it had at least 3 TV introductions; Ame Talk, ZIP and another show. People like to say that Kingdom would be selling even better if it had an anime but its the opposite. The anime raised it up to 300-350k, Ame Talk raised it up to the current 750k, though that rise was done slowly over a year through further word of mouth. The year following Ame Talk it was doing around 600k. This year it passed TG. Neverland was given an almost 5 minutes introduction there. One can say it wasn't "forced" to be introduced but the hosts, popular comedians, still talked about it for that long. People will definitely go and check it out if Kendo Kobayashi and Ariyoshi Hiroiki say its an interesting series. Next, Neverland was given a whole segment on ZIP, a popular morning TV show on NTV which has average ratings of around 9%. Its one of the most popular morning shows in Japan. They like to shed a spotlight on up and coming trends while also doing all kinds of other segments. It got 5-10 min on there exclusively discussing its plot (as spoiler-freely as possible), reactions from the hosts, again popular TV personalities, and reactions from people on the street who regularly read Jump. This is much more than the average anime can do for a series given its on programs with much higher viewerships than most anime, even daytime anime, will ever have.

The fact that with this much its a little under Heroaca at the same time is almost a little underwhelming given Heroaca had no TV promotion until early 2016 with Mando Kobayashi. It will continue to get lots of promotion here on out and its definitely the biggest hit since Heroaca but to say that its doing so well with no anime is borderline ridiculous given this much of TV exposure with only 6 volumes released so far.

Well with everything you listed it's still doesn't have an anime. So you can still say it's doing well without an anime.
It's getting a lot of exposure on talk shows and radio shows, but it's earnedthat exposure because ppl in Japan(and the hosts of these shows) seem to think it's a quality series worth discussing on these shows.
Not everyo series gets the exposure before its anime

Kimetsu needs to air on Ame Talk :cheez.

TPN had 3 TV introductions? That's way more promotion than what Toriko got at the time.
