Series would end to make space for these new series right? Gintama is not ending by issue 9. Shudan and Cross account are presumably cancelled this or next issue. So what would be the other one? I would be pretty pissed off if they keep Full Drive by getting rid of Shudan though. Also would another series be axed to make space for the one shot?

There's a decent chance of it, they quite often leave a spot open for extra oneshots and the oneshots this year have pretty big names behind them. I wouldn't be too surprised if we saw 4 series end.

It's interesting to see that the Golem Hearts mangaka is pretty old for a debut mangaka. Everyone else is pretty much where I expected, although I expected Gotouge to be younger and the SW#1 mangaka to be older.

I feel the same way. I think they'd rather give Golem Hearts the benefit of the doubt than Full Drive. Although it's last this issue, it's getting extra pages next issue. Ideally, I'd rather see Shudan stick around until the next round than Cross Account, Full Drive or Golem Hearts, but that realistically doesn't seem like it's going to happen. I wouldn't think a space is needed for the oneshots since the first one appears in Issue 6, but no final chapters were announced (unless that's what Golem Hearts' extra pages are for).

Why'd you expect Spring Weapon's mangaka to be older? To me, the series seems like it's a pretty juvenile concept and execution. I just looked him up on MAL, and it turns out he had another series in Jump that barely lasted at all.

Speaking of which, I remember seeing Koi no Cupid doing pretty well on a 'best WSJ gag series' done in a Japanese poll a few years back as well as being on some personal best series lists. Was it a meme in Japan or something? Or does it legitimately has a small cult fanbase who loves it?
