It's tiny. But that why is a pretty big case of forshadowing. This was before Mashima started using digital. That title was drawn in front of the original drawing and not digitally moved. To not cover it compeltly had to have intentional. No it doesn't. It's a tiny design on the cover page. It proves nothing. I'm going to take an interview where the author says he originally planned the series to last for 10 volumes (16 volumes before END was even hinted at) over the speculation of some dude looking too deeply into every letter on Hiro's artwork. The word end isn't exactly uncommon.
Especially since Hiro has been known to say that he makes up stuff as he goes along.
Also mashima flip flooped on idea before. (he said in interviews only three months apart after the series ended. 1. He told his editors after tartaros. that the series would end in two years. Then in a later interview with his newest editor present, he wanted to end the series 2 years before. Not too mention contradicted world details such as magic cannot be inherited in spite of the multiple cases of magic being inheritable and how a bloodline carrying on a magical tradition is required for the plot. The mobilie fortress during the Oricon Seis arc losing a leg between chapter which even he commented on, and this is a big one: when Neinhart magic was introduced he commented that once a character dies in the series. They can't come back..... what bs plot writting occurs over the curse of the second half of the arc to point of comedy?) Also, while he makes a ton of shit up. He does plan 'some ideas' out. (The dragon parents being inside of the slayers)
