Made two exceptions, and in the end I chose Spike and Jet over these two because, well, would it really be my list if there wasn’t a Bebop pick? And anyway, the two duos work very much the same and are quite similar.

Always good to see some Ranma rep. And Alucard/Seras is one of few ships I can get onboard.

Alucard and Seras is an awesome pick - Seras is lucky to have a father figure master like that.
Especially considering that it's a vampire story, the depth and variety of Alucard's relationships is really cool - his competitiveness with Anderson, his servitude and devotion to Integra, his respect for Walter, etc.
Even with The Major, he has a relationship which isn't entirely a 'he's the bad guy [...] and I will defeat him', as it is in many series.

Also those Toshirou Hitsugaya and Rangiku Matsumoto, Spike Spiegel and Jet Black, and Accelerator and Last Order, picks are certainly ones I can get behind (if I had managed to make [and send] a list, then some of those would, for sure, have been on it).

It's cool to see so many pairs which are entirely platonic (at least, as far as we know...)

I keep forgetting this isn't just shipping, you can have other duos.

I think Zen x Shirayuki from AnS-h would have scored higher if it were shipping-only. They're really cute together, and if you want a romance that tells more than just getting together you would like this. (Obi x Kiki #1 tho).

Zen x Shirayuki are similar to Shota x Sayako from Kimi ni Todoke. There's more in the 'getting together' with that one but the development of characters, Sayako in particular, isn't forgotten nor over after they do finally hook up, just like in AnS-h. I chose Pin x Ayane from this series because it has more fire to it. Pretty simple, put 2 kinda-opposites together and let them attract. They don't get many scenes but that amplifies my thirst for more of them and I just had to express that with selection here. I'd like this manga to be completely translated somewhere so I can finish it.

Oh man that Sentarou and Kaoru pic was a nostalgia hit. You can feel that connection, it's some of the best duo work for sure.

Those yaoi from Juviii good to see someone embrace the 'crack'ships.
