Suggestion for the TOC pinning, just make a link to it in the first post so people can access them if they need. Having it appear on every page constantly is annoying, and I think most of us are in agreement that it doesn’t really mean much anyway.

I have the hunch Dr.Stone anime is more aired to West than Japan, but dunno.

In other order of news, Dr.Stone anime was Twitter Trending Topic in Spain. Is the second time EVER I see a anime title of THIS DECADE being Trending Topic in Spain (first time was Hero Academia when the Deku vs Todoroki fight, I think the TT was BHNA). Not even Neverland managed to do this.

Is a very huge feat to me in a country that when thinks about anime, it has a sickly obsession with the nostalgia (for a lot of people only the 90s big titles like Dragon Ball, Evangelion, Sakura or Slayers matter), so I'm happy. I hope what happened with Dr.Stone repeats in the future with some other titles.

Meanwhile none of the previous Dr. Stone volumes made it to shoseki ranking the day before it aired.

BC, TPN and KNY all had some volumes making it to the ranks before the show started. Im not expecting a big boost at all, but we will soon find out.

How can I even engage with a conversation with you when you've been known for lying and don't even read the series you're talking about? I'm not going to waste my time on a meaningless conversation.

I made a vote about it. Most people wanted me to sticky it, though.

Make it less "in your face" , do a mod edit (colors and all)
give it a header(?) and
put TOC and relevant images(covers toc proof, next issue) in spoiler tags

I don't mind pinning the first to make the legit TOC post(though I won't mind just a mod post either)

I was just meaning don't have a sticky at all, but update the first post of the thread with links to the TOCs from now on (if that's possible, though I believe it was done in the past).

Having anything stuck at all is probably gonna become annoying. Makes it harder to know what pages you've read and what you haven't.

Technically I can edit any post within the section I moderate, including this topic's first post. Problem is though, I'm mostly a mobile user, and jagman has a *bunch* of coding that would take an eternity to replicate on mobile.

So much so, I was actually thinking one of you guys could create the 2020 WSJ topic so I don't have to bother with that stuff.

My job is to enforce the rules, but I'd also like to make the forum-going experience more pleasant for everyone, which is why I've been enacting quality of life improvements here and there.

I was led to believe people wanted to be able to see the ToC on every page, as it makes it easier to locate. Hell, my superiors even liked the idea.

If that's not what people want, then I need to know, or at least ideas on how to improve it. If people want me to edit it into the first post, then I'm going to need assistance with the coding and everything first, possibly through PM. This isn't part of my "job" description, but I will do it, if it makes you guys happy.

I like having the ToC on every page, though it does take up a bit of space. Keeping it stickied but under a spoiler tag could maybe work well? Then it's always easy to see but not too intrusive.

See, I like this idea too. But, it seems like some are wanting color coding and preview pages, and etc. That's the part I'm not really wanting to deal with.

I think just a spoiler tag seems fine, no need to overthink it or anything, it makes the TOC less obtrusive while still easily accessible.

You're right. Not sure why I didn't think about that initially. So yeah, going forward, I'll still sticky ToCs, but I'll wrap them in spoiler tags.

Still, I was expecting more out of it now that Murase is more of an established name, at the least.

Being the only site where the series can be read also boosts the series views. Also, japanese views are not that high, around 12 million with 21 chapters, so that's like 570k per chapter.
