I'm doing pretty well, just more busy than I would like (I'm sure you know that feel). Sort of got 2 jobs to handle atm Which is also why I stepped down, but I don't think I'll leave MH fully anytime soon. Otherwise, there's nothing too important, but a lot happens in 2 and half years, so I guess we could talk some more if you find the time

How about you? What have you been up to during the last 2 and half 3 years? :3

Haha, yeah I think I'm doing alright health wise! I'll try not to vanish for 2 years this time.

Yeah I said the same thing and stuck around for a long time after retirement, but eventually with my interest in manga/anime fading and things getting more distant it was easy to sort of "ease out". MH took up so much of my time at that time, so it was a pretty huge thing to "let go" even though it fucking sucked Of course not saying you'll disappear, but I understood why others who went through the same thing as me like Tiff etc. just disappeared off the face of the earth before. Which I never really understood at the time.

Haha, you can tell me about the 2 (wtf why 2) jobs if you want to! But yeah I'm sort of working at the same place with some expanded responsibilities and just working up experience and gradually increasing my paycheck I guess. Trying to find something new now though, and yeah in the past 3 years I've had a girlfriend (not in past tense, haha), so that obviously consumes a lot of time. But that has been the best thing to happen in years. So year, life goes by like that, been into fitness a lot so been working out a lot with my cousin mostly who is even more into it than I am. Time flies when you got another hobby like that + gf etc.

I guess I'll try and get on Slack another day so it's easier to convo. Too late to start that now, gotta go to bed soon so I don't get too sleepy tomorrow at work

At some point you'll vanish again anway, but that's cool. No one will remain here until he/she's dying of old age, besides Gary maybe :3

Yeah, can't say I've felt the same way yet, but I can totally see how it's "easy" to let go once you stop caring about manga/anime. Sometimes you simply move on and other stuff gets more important. Not at all surprised about the gf, it's a prime reason for life changing in some huge ways (been some time since I last used that smiley lol)

It's mostly two jobs because I decided to reduce worktime for my first job after I got an offer for working for a Japanese firm Makes for a nice mix, but sometimes it can create more work than you expected. Can tell you more on Slack I guess, if you don't forget about it
Glad to hear you're doing fine. More money's always welcome, and I think you're having fun with your job now? (after that you know what mess got settled). Been working out for a bit lately too, but prolly nowhere near as much as you haha. Just lack the motivation, but even if it's just a little, it has noteable results.

And mb just write me here or something when you get on Slack, I've not been on there that much lately tbh xD

Just wanted to say I finally finished ep 1 of umineko, don't ask why it took this long, I just didn't find time to play it, family stuff, anyways what I have to say about this arc is
Maria you're creepy
The heck especially that one scene where she was singing turning to the wall where three bodies where there, creepy

Anways I must say uwu the mvp of this ep was kanon and natsuhi they gone well
I honestly cried on kanon death because of battler talk and his way of death, and natsuhi then comforting battler and promising to protect them

And also poor natsuhi the adults give her too much shit, gotta comfort her, she done well handling everything.


Anyways what was that ending credit scene, so confused
Hope tea party ep explain it or maybe the answer arcs

Yeah, Maria is extremely creepy during the first ep But most Umi characters have a lot of different aspects to them, you'll continue to learn more about everyone.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the story so far Don't worry about being confused at this point, that's only natural xD Honestly though, now is when the story starts for real. Be ready for someone insane twists and turns, because the game will shift heavily more than once. Personally I don't think it's all great, but it almost never stops being entertaining. Really looking forward to your thoughts about EP2

Hirugami is a good char, but I don't think I like him anywhere as much as someone like Ushiwaka or Satori. Still, it's pretty amazing how the series continues to introduce interesting and likeable teams.
And yet, I think the character development for Karasuno has been almost insane during this match, which leads to the other team sort of getting overshadowed. Only a minor complaint though, I highly enjoy the current match. I thought it would be pretty hard to top the latter half of the vs Nekoma match, but I would say this is basically just as good.

Poor Hinata btw, I really hope this isn't going to be the end for him this match, just when he made some huge progress (and is almost vital for their win at this point).

The Nekoma one was great and pretty difficult to me as well because Nekoma is my favorite team besides Karasuno, so I had inner conflicts. Kenma is another favorite of mine and he had a great development in that match as well, I loved his final moments when he smiled and thanked Kuroo.
So yeah I guess this match is epic but is going to be hard to top the Nekoma one. Still the tension in this match is insane, I also like how emotional it is, and almost everyone at Karasuno are getting the spotlight and their own development (these Asahi moments<3).
This latest chapter was such a plot twist in a way lol. I haven't cried for a Haikyuu chapter for a long time but this one got me tearing up. When Hinata insisted "I'm not injured" it was too much, but then Takeda's speech made me lost it These last panels of everyone's reactions were great, and the little Kageyama/Hinata final interaction was epic as always. I'm sure this will be a turning point for Hinata's chara development.

Agreed with how likeable the characters are, especially the rivals one, the author manages to make you want to cheer for them sometimes. I honestly don't like Satori as much as I love Ushiwaka, but tbh I doubt I will ever like a character more than him.
