????So lower level mangas are going to be axed ok so Samurai 8 is going to get axed soon top I think.... So sad i wished what new kishimoto wanted to show us. Poor kishimoto. Hope he doesn't gets axed
Oh, please don't bring this discussion here again. You don't seem to be aware but people are always heated regarding S8 here and we seem to go nowhere in any of the zillion times we discussed its rankings before. (I say this because I'm one of the users that brought this discussion before and it went nowhere)So lower level mangas are going to be axed ok so Samurai 8 is going to get axed soon top I think.... I guess they might be saving Tanjirou and Zenitsu for covers near the ending.Wut why Sanemi? This is weird lol. I was expecting a duo cover with Tanjirou/Giyuu or Zenitsu
160 chapters seems like the actual thing. Though, 8 more chapters feel too few to conclude everything. It will feel rushed, but then again TPN has been rushing for a while now so what happens in terms of story is unpredictable.Chapter 160 would be very neat all things considered. Final chapter of the publication year, and the perfect note to conclude this thread on. (That, and the faux awards show I plan to host for fun)
The question is, when is the next batch of series? Because TPN's conclusion would still be two months away, but I really can't see Jump stretching things out that far for the failing newbie trio of Taisei, Beast and Shinobi.
We'll probably hear more about KnY S2 in Jump Festa in December. We just got stuff for Haikyuu last week so have to wait more until we get something else. I think I read BC anime would be going on a short break soon, but I might be confusing it. The anime won't make a season break, though, it will just keep going.Any news on haikyuu, KnY and bc anime?
The batches being fewer really just depends on the success of the published series. Right now, we have three series that are doing poorly and one that is not as bad, but it's not doing hot either. We have yet to see how Yozakura and Mitama will do later on. But I do agree that they might keep a couple of them for a while and axe another couple so they don't leave a huge space in their roster and make another big batch. My guess is a batch of two in October or November, followed by another batch of two or three in December or January.
We've already gotten 11 new series in this serialization year, and even just two more would make it 13. We haven't gotten that many in one year since 2015. I'm betting that batches will be on the smaller side till 2020.
Because of this, I also have a feeling that even if we do lose all three of the non-Samurai 8 newbies, we're not losing all of them in the same batch.

Aki got his cover. Makima for volume 5?
I really like these covers. Best boy Hayakawa for one and the composition on S8's volume 2 is really charming. Also, I saw a LQ preview of the new BC cover and it's so spoiler-ish lo.Samurai 8 volumes 1 and 2 in color, thanks to Nav

Some people will bash it because of its rankings and bc it has Kishimoto's name and some people will defend it because we don't know yet how much it will sell and bc it has Kishimoto's name.Sorry i didn't knew about that but can you please explain why
Why do people assume that the anime is going to 1:1 the manga's pacing in that arc when we've already been shown the final fight in the PVs?The anime won't reach that point until 2021. The movie will have huge spoilers for anime only viewers.
I'm pretty sure that Hawks will debut at the beginning of S4, when the interns head out for their offices. they could have Tokoyami arriving at his office, and introduce him as the "missing #3" that wasn't present during Kamino. At the end of the season, we're re-introduced to him once again as the #2 hero. I think that makes for some good directing while padding out some scenes. With OP the thing at least takes place in the same arc. And it's not just Hawks. With BNHA's movie and where the anime is right now the movie will be 5 arcs ahead and the anime will need at least 2 2-cour seaons to catch up with where the movie is.
Damn... now it seems till chapter 162, nothing more. Sad to see the goat end, the manga after goldy pond could be alot better, it's kinda disappointing but the fight with the queen was still really goodNeverland readers, if it's really ending, how many chapters you think it would need to get a proper ending?
I've put it on hold after Goldy Pond so I don't know how the story is going, but I would like to know if it'll at least get a proper ending (if it's the case)

bro...Someone posted on Twitter regarding TPN, that it says in the preview: "September is ending and with it, this adventure is almost over too. Thanks for these amazing three years! Keep dreaming, change the world!"

Think about it though. There are 3 arcs before the arc in which Hawks shows up. In 10 episodes (the ones that will air through October, November and early December and before the movie's release) we'll probably be midway through or on the late side of Shie Hassaikai arc. If Hawks does show up in S4, it will be way down the line, just like the Big 3 and Overhaul did at the end of S3.Why do people assume that the anime is going to 1:1 the manga's pacing in that arc when we've already been shown the final fight in the PVs?
What's interesting about Double Arts was that it managed to get a cover for its 13th chapter which is earlier than everything post 2000 except Ichigo 100%, Toriko, and Sam8 (if you count LCPs since they're basically the same thing), and matched by Bleach. It placed extremely high in the TOC for it's first 10-15 chapters, only entering the bottom 5 five chapters before it ended, which was only 10 after the cover. Yet Nura which started in the same batch and didn't quite perform as well in TOC, but slightly out performed it in first volume sales had to wait until its 91st chapter for a cover.Double Arts came out in a very different time for Jump, where even the lowest selling titles were doing 200k. I think it's pretty reasonable to argue that, had it come out now, it could've easily gotten off the ground without a hitch. Same deal as Mx0, Psyren, Enigma and Magico.
Season 4 will probably end with 184-5 which announces the new hero rankings, and is also Hawks' debut. I guess that's still after the movie, but considering how popular he is as a character, it's definitely a smart move to introduce him in the movie. Don't really see an issue. The anime won't reach that point until 2021. The movie will have huge spoilers for anime only viewers.

Or he could just show up earlier like GT did in S2. That fact that he's being showcase this early means that we'll be getting the Pro Hero arc since it would be redundant to give him an "early bird" cameo in the movie and have him do nothing in the season.Season 4 will probably end with 184-5 which announces the new hero rankings, and is also Hawks' debut. Well dunno if what's written on the preview for this week's issue. Well the preview for when TPN gets the big announcement so didn't use spoiler tags for that.I don't follow TPN or rather I'm not caught up to date but is this a spoiler that needs to be within spoiler tags?![]()
I think there's a good chance S4 gets to the chapter that introduces Hawks.

I'm not talking about the introduction of Hawks. I'm talking about everything that happens after it like Endeavor's fight with High-End resulting in Endeavor's new scar on his face, Deku meeting his OFA predecessors and unlocking Black Whip, the new costume upgrades and power-ups of class 1A, the League of Villains fighting and merging with the Meta Liberation Army to form the Paranormal Liberation Front, and Hawks working as a spy for the government to infiltrate the PLF.Season 4 will probably end with 184-5 which announces the new hero rankings, and is also Hawks' debut. Its no different from what the recent One Piece movies do all the time in fact the second one introduced Ace before his appearance in the TV anime same with the Marines in Z.I'm not talking about the introduction of Hawks. The new movie summary on the movie website mentions Shigaraki and his underlings fighting the pro-heroes, so you can be sure the PLF will be shown.
And all of this won't happen until Season 5, maybe even season 6, so anime only watchers will 100% get bombarded with spoilers.

>unironic quoting of Jump Matome as some kind of a valid news sourceI wouldn't be quite so sure about that, actually. Looking at Jump Matome, it seems the series last two chapters haven't landed the impact due to the jank pacing, though it's entirely possible it'll bounce back or these numbers will prove inaccurate to actual result.
For reference Chapter 5's reception:

isn't this the protagonist of the Jump Next oneshot Gotoge did years ago?
Looks like a love a child between Iguro an Giyuu
bro, you can't link pics from baidu, it will appear on your side of posting but to us the picture doesn't show
source?BTW, this is relating to an old topic, but I feel like mentioning it because I couldn't talk when it happened;
The reason Naruto didn't get the cover of Jump for its final chapter is because, as explained by the "How Jump is Made" graphic novel from 2015, is that Jump was looking towards "THE FUTURE", as it put it. Rather than dwelling on Naruto's legacy, Shueisha felt it was more efficient to look at what comes next, hence Assassination Classroom got the continued push.
>another arena fighterOne's Justice 2 is in development.

You have a Fairy Tail RPG game next year. Probably won't be good given the developer but that's something.give me a rpg, give me a beat em up, give me an open world
