It's the same attack he used against Merc. It should be strong enough who him to use it. Anway If Laxus gets damaged by this basic spell then Elfman should be able to achieve it if he can land one.

HUH? Yea he used that attack against Merc with Ignia powered flames. The minute Natsu uses his heavier spells, Elfman is done.

Laxus is like 5 tiers ahead of Elfman calm down.

That's what you think. You thought he was five-tier above Erza as well but he barely won. Natsu's demo fist is one of his strongest moves. If it was casual he would have used that against Wraith as well. Name me a spell above FDK Demo other than purgatory and DF.

Pretty sure natsu, gajeel, erza , laxus are not the only characters in FT. As for Spriggans, quite debatable.

Nope, u r totally ignoring the fact she deliberately let lucy injure her, which does not prove jack at all abt her speed or anything else. For all we know, she was holding back. So, no, not irrelevant .

Nothing shows that she wasn't trying to dodge her attacks either. She was holding back in the sense that she didn't enlarge her organs and made her explode.
I completely get what you're trying to say here, but she has no real defense/reaction-speed feats apart from her fight with Lucy. There is no grounds to claim that she's good in those departments. At best for her, she's featless. At worst, she's fodder tier in those departments.
Looking at the typical Spriggan, it's more likely that she's just high magic power + hax, with fodder stats.

Tht is me pointing out the inconsistency which u are banking on. Brandish not able to harm neinhart purely might be due to irene's magic which was on him. But brandish took out Natsu, who has superior MP to Neinhart.........So, any basis to claim it is impossible to not be able to do to others bar few ?

Base Natsu doesn't have more magic power than Neinhart. FDKM/DF? Sure. Neinhart is just high magic power + hax, with fodder in stats

Even if said condition was applicable, in middle of fight, create barrier arnd her and in very moment minimise injury....meaning ways are available.

Thus her versatility also plays a part here.

The only thing AUGUST tanked was the robotic arm attack of gildarts. If u r referring cardia cathedral, then no proof AUGUST might not have negated the spell with copy. But benefit of doubt given.
Naah, u r not seeing the picture. AUGUST got to block. BRANDISH didn't get to block and suffered full brunt of the attack. And yet, she survived.

He was facing off Gildarts in physical combat as well. The robotic arm was powered by Gildarts, so there's that, not to mention he was caught off guard as well (didn't defend/block). He has actual feats.
Yeah, but just surviving isn't being tanky. Dimaria just failed to kill her, she could've just slit her throat.....probably because deep down she still cared for her.

When have I ever said that? I said Laxus would win and he did. There's a big dfference between Erza and Elfman. Elfman probably got a couple hits in. Don't wank hin to hell and back because of one off screen fight.

IMO : Purgatory > Roar >Brilliant Flame = Demo Fist
