Seriously though, it's more of a ship tease. But I did like that the tease isn't full of fanservice or yaoi-bait moments and it adds to their chemistry and development. Whether or not they're canon is up to the viewer.

So far, I like most of the OSTs that have been used here, nice. The OSTs of Ghost in the Shell is just simply amazing, good to see it being listed. It's also nice to see Re:Creators, let's see if someone did put Kill la Kill etc. in their list also lol. Sawano is simply an awesome composer.

Trigun very solidly on my HM list as well, always one of the first I think of when I think "anime OST". Glad it was included. "Sound Life" was on my Top 10 OST Songs, but many of the tracks are really fantastic.

The Moomin OST is overly cutesy at times, but besides possibly Mushishi I still haven't encountered another OST which has just filled me with that much philosophic melancholy just through its atmospheric sound and composition alone. The production might be a bit dated but I can still hum every tune by heart and overall it's almost ridiculous how good a job the music does at creating exactly the feeling a scene demands. The philosophical scenes are deeper, the scary scenes scarier, the cutesy scenes more whimsical. It's everything an OST should be.

And obviously this has nothing to do with the fact that I've heard it regularly since I was zero years old..

Yeah, the one I thought of while we were talking. Really glad I didn't send my list immediately or I'd forgotten it as well. It still falls in the "kid cartoon" folder in my brain but even competing against the best anime OSTs I think it holds up.

It does. Some of the track incredibly beautiful while some a great feel of whimsy and adventure. Great stuff.

Best thing about comiccon afterparties in Finland are all the dance/house/Tec remixes of Moomin songs.

Damn so far @Brandish is the savior of many of my favorites I had to put as HM's so far- GITS:SAC, Mushishi, Trigun were all some of the last I booted off my list. Like I said in my Moomin praise post, Mushishi is almost unparalleled when it comes to that atmospheric philosophical feel in its music. Love the use of traditional Japanese instruments as well.

Haikyuu is my go to motivation soundtrack. Running, cycling or drawing. Always works and get me hyped up.
