Actually I would say Argentina is arguably the best country for grilled meat. Empanadas are very good too in other south american countries but a good parrillada argentina of entrañas, criollos and the like... with its chimichurri... ahhhh is a true heaven for meat lovers.

I agree with the manteigaria > Belém. Belém ones used to be better but they had too many clients for their own good. Alentejo do have some great dishes, like the one I sent. Francesinha is good though a bit greasy (nothing compared to Gry's collesterol bomb burger) and there's also the pastries that were born in convents and monasteries that are heaven.
