I love so much her guts, her honesty, her "cold" side, and her softer one too, her ethics. i dont think of any other female chars written that well. she has some of the best lines of the manga too.

Probably one of my favorite quotes from her. That is just so like her. Mira is an amazing character, indeed. Her interaction with her brother is funny also. xD

My point basically comes down to people dragging Sakura for the same reasons as Hinata - simping for a moronic boy.

People drag Sakura down because she was unfortunate enough to be cast as one of the 3 main characters - had she been as fortunate as Hinata, to be a background/side character, then she'd be equally forgettable

My point was rather one related to the obvious shift in quality between part 1 and part 2 of Naruto
though, aye, it would've been nice for her [and Nagato] to have had a little more screen time

While this was valid in Part 1 perhaps, she had a pittance of screentime in Part 2. Certainly nothing compared to Nardo and Sasuke.

For me Hinata‘s love for Naruto is more understandable and easier to empathize with than what Sakura has with Sasuke. I certainly like her more than Sakura, though I don‘t hate either.

If i had to choose i do prefer Hinata over Sakura, bc she had it tougher, romance aside, she was rejected by her own family and had to struggle to get them to respect her, some scenes with her father were pretty sad, i feel she had way more touching moments than Sakura. also Sakura 1st half of the manga was quite arrogant, imo while Hinata was really a kind person (way too kind maybe).

Obsessively stalking and loving someone that you don't even talk to? Versus having affection for someone you bled with on the battlefield and pity because of their fucked up childhood? I don't know, I don't think Hinata really wins in that department either. That might make Sakura kind of hopeless as a person, but I guess Naruto isn't that much different in that aspect either... he might even be worse.

Why didn't she just reject her family and make her own path? Why was Naruto the main factor in everything she did?

She was, but that was the first half when she was a child. They all did stupid shit IMO.

I actually have to agree here sometimes with Ino/Sakura on screen I was just waiting until the focus will switch from them
