These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

This seem like a nice campaign and some of the short comics are in English, which is nice. Akatsuki goes pretty hard. Sadly that there are people that actually thinks like those in the example.
Is Pigeon-sensei's piece for this not yet released? Maybe the reason Mitama volumes aren't selling like they should be is due to excessive piracy... right?....

-Rokudenashi Blues: Never got anime
-Rookies: Never got anime
-Video Girl Ai: Just OVAs that covered 2-3 volumes
-I's: Just OVAs that covered 2-3 volumes

Now that 90s nostalgia is in full motion, it would be cool to see Morita and Katsura adaptations getting full anime TV series. Also, Jaguar from Usuta (fortunately Sexy Commando Gaiden got proper anime).

Ichigo 100% would also be sweet since it only animated 2-3 volumes too

PS: I also accept a Hoshin Engi reboot of the reboot

Agreed.

Both RokuBlues and I''s are long overdue for a TV anime covering more material.

Also, we need a Bastard!! anime, a TV one that pushes the same boundaries as Berserk.

I don’t particularly have any old anime series I want to be animated.

But I would still like to see Shuiesha invest in a high budget crossover Jump film, that doesn’t even make sense canonically, but just a dumb excuse to see you favorite characters on screen together with good animation, just like for the Jump video games

So a Shonen Jump Who Framed Roger Rabbit (without the live action)? Sign me up.

I would like it if it really explored the entire history of Jump. Even the 60s-80s series.

My dream movie like this would be a movie where there’s some Multi-Universe tournament where different Jump characters a roped in. And we just get a straight up 2 hour action movie of Top Tier Animated 1 on 1 fights of different Jump characters.

I honestly believe this would be one of the most successful anime films ever.

And they could even make a tie manga.
Hell, if a movie would be too hard(cause different animation studios handle each series) I find it crazy that no one at Shuiesha has thought of making something like this as a stupid fun manga series. The Jump crossover games could have been a perfect time to make a cross over manga like this.

Anime is the best medium to complete Bastard!! in. They can have Hagiwara write the story and scripts and stuff while the studio does everything else. That way we can finally see the ending to the Sin and Punishment arc. That arc started in '92 and it's still unfinished...

VIZ has begun to fill in the Act-Age gap (with the same method as JJK and KnY). Chapters 7-16 are now available on their service (only 29 chapters left to add):

Mashle's official account talks about how volume 1 keeps selling out and thanks everyone. They also posted chapters 2 and 3.

Oooh, neat! Gotta catch up. Beginning to see it as something of a mainstay in the magazine, which is something I haven't thought about for all the other currently running newbies.

For a crossover jump I would actually like a serialized manga and anime adaptation. It would basically take place in an alternate universe where a lot of jump heroes live in together. This is so the stakes can actually be high and more creative freedom on the story and characters without contradictions in the said jump series’s universe.

It would have this thanos level villain as the final boss since a bunch of jump characters are op. The series included would be jump series 1975 to now. Finally the anime adaptation would be handled by madhouse with one punch mans season 1 team as I feel they would do any shonen jump matchup right. The manga would be 15 volumes and the anime would be 4 cour.

I’m sure this won’t happen but if it does it will break the internet for sure.

Or just set it in the Dragon Ball universe. Have Whis tell Goku that the multiverse is much larger than they evercould have thought and all the universes are bleeding together and them and a group of warriors from across universes have to work together to defeat whoever is causing all this to happen.

Awesome! I feel like Mashle's going to end up selling the most out of it, Undead and Yozakura, but I feel like all 3 of their sales numbers would appear stronger in the estimates if they weren't constantly selling out. It's good to see their volumes being reprinted multiple times, but at the same time, having a bit larger of an initial stock could prove to be beneficial in helping the series take off.

Yusuke Murata did a One-Shot because of the launch of Jump Super Stars.

That reminds me to some early 00s curious situation:

2000 and first months of 2001: The Jump "Big-3" was One Piece, Yu-gi-oh, and Prince of Tennis. Yes, Prince of Tennis was bigger than Naruto in their two first years (both of them started in 1999).

2003-2004: Eyeshield21 was bigger than Bleach. Very similar situation (spokon being bigger than mega-hit manga in their their two first years, then mega-hit becomes mega-hit).

PS: Reminder Naruto starting to go full motion in 2002 was what allowed Jump to retake 1st place as top-sales magazine from WSM

Things have been a bit slow, so I wanted to make a random observation:

We are about two months from the first anniversary of Mission: Yozakura Family. Like... it's going to outlast Samurai 8, despite selling less initially.

With Neverland and Yuuna gone, there's only 9 mainstays in the magazine (not counting Hunter x Hunter). Out of 20 spots. Over half the magazine's going made up of new, unproven series looking to make a name for themselves. It's an observation we've all made already, but I just personally find it extremely exciting. My favorite part of Jump, ever since I learned about it in 2017 is seeing all these new series come and take a shot at sticking around. It's like it's own battle royale, where you can pick some manga to really root for in order to beat the odds and survive, only magnified to an extent beyond even 2016. You never know who might win - I didn't think Chainsaw Man or Act-Age would survive here, but here they still are, coming into their own as the mid-2010 series begin to wither a bit.

I wonder who you guys are/will be rooting for, out of the 11 new-ish series that'll be vying for survival. Personally, I can see MASHLE and Ayakashi making it, but you've also got Undead Unluck holding it's own, Yozakura managing to defy the odds, Time Paradox Ghostwriter making its debut at an extremely favorable time, and even Moriking looking to start strong. It's all so fascinating, and it's really nice discussing this with ya'll.

It's really interesting, agreed. So many newbies and they are all competing with each other to stay afloat. Personally Yozakura surviving this long is a miracle, but wouldn't hold my breath since some series can just drop (RIP Samon the Summoner).

Moriking is definitely a mainstay, can agree. And Mashle has immunity on its side thanks to all the sales and good placements. Guardian of the Witch is probably next to go with Neverland gone with possibly Agravity or Mitama afterwards.
