Saw the raw.... One of the worst parts of the tournament of power arc was that goku for no reason placed the whole of creation at risk. And now he does the same to fight someone he should have no business enjoying fighting. It's one thing when goku shows mercy to his enemies. That's.... human. But this is not even that. It's just infuriating to watch.

If I remember correctly thanks to the intervention of goku for the tournament of power allowed a low level universe to survive even if we already knew that it was the 7 who would win.

Not sure about the manga but in the anime this is the case, yes. So in the end Goku saved 8 universes.

In chapter 28 the zeno want to destroy the 8 other universe before goku arrives and after goku proposes the tournament we learn in chapter 30 that thanks to the tournaments that goku proposed a universe will be saved.

Any of these could easily be reversed trough talking or dragon but still

Though it is refreshing seeing Krillin and Whis reactions, but if this has no consequence then they are worthless.

I dont even want Goku to change as I think this is unlikely, but as I said, just make his friends and family give him a cold shoulder for a chapter while he gets into comedic shenigans to make them pardon him.

You see this is the situation we are in... The authors do not want to change anyone's character due to "fear" and "laziness" and just want them to remain the same characters so what they have them do is relearn the same lessons over and over again so at the end of each arc, they are the same as from the beginning except stronger from a new transformation. Also, torytaro can't think of anything unique to save his life and thinks that his audience are filled with a bunch of idiots and has to resort to regurgitating repeated storylines over and over again.

I know Goku has never been the sharpest tool in the box, and he's always been committed to his ways to a fault, but I am actually dumbfounded at his idiocy in this case lol. I mean, every character around was basically screaming for him not to be so reckless. I get him not wanting to kill Moro (I mean... actually I don't, because he's killed before. He killed Kid Buu because even he realised he couldn't just let him run amok. He let his teenage son kill Cell. He killed Babidi's underling.), but to heal him first? Surely the whole idea is to incapacitate him precisely so that he can be carted off to prison?

And the weirdest part of all is that Moro isn't even the type of fighter Goku should want to fight ever again. You can see why he enjoyed fighting Kid Buu or why he might enjoy the rivalry with Frieza, but Moro isn't even his idea of a good sparring partner. Hell Moro hiimself outright stated that he doesn't give a toss about training and fighting the way Goku does.
Man that was stupid. The only saving grace is that it potentially leaves room for Vegeta to get another crack at having his time to shine, but I wouldn't bet on that happening either.

While I was reading the latest chapter, I had the feeling that the author is really afraid of trying anything new that deviates from the original manga.
It feels like reading a fanfic. Unfortunately a bad one.

Probably the most unique fight in a good while by far, with everything that happened. Vegeta got yet another very interesting buff too.

Maybe DBS will do him justice.
