I mean, sure? Though I will make a point: Stain as he has been presented so far is still pretty fucking evil. Setting aside that his ideology is just plain stupid (objecting to hero being a job) his targets aren't criminals or evil doers of any kind. He targets heroes... Basically ordinary people doing their day jobs. Stain at best sick and at worst a monster. Stain being better than dabi on a technicality doesn't really matter. Whatever point stain could possibly have is essentially lost in the mountain of corpses he has left in his onslaught.

True, he does target heroes, but its not like his adverse to killing villains, who also totally disgust him.

Stain is insane, but he kills with a motive and after making a judgement call about whether someone should die or not.

Well if you read Vigilantes you would know that Stain killed villains before he became the hero killer.

I am not sure of where you are going with this. So what? it doesn't really change much of anything in regards to stain. There is still nothing redeemable about his actions in the manga so far. The only good thing he ever did was saving deku but that doesn't really make up for the mountain of corpses and misery he has caused. Even if he kills with a motive and after making a judgement call his target are ultimately just normal ass people living normal ass lives and doing their day jobs. None of those people deserved to die, the world is a decidedly worst place due to the deaths stain has caused. He didn't kill rapists, thieves... He killed people in their day jobs who otherwise lead normal ass lives with their normal ass families.

Yeah, I'm not denying that, I'm just trying to enter a discussion about what Stain could potentially do in the future.

As part of this discussion, we were talking about what motivates Stain into action, and were linking that to how he may act in the future.

I think Stain and Dabi won't get along.
Stain and Toga though, maybe. He could take her under his wing. It would be awesome if Izuku got to team up with Stain, Toga, Gentle and Brava...! I would be super down for that.

There is one other good that comes from his actions. Apparently whatever area he strikes, his actions reduce the crime rate for an indeterminate amount of time. Not a justification, not an excuse. Just some good born from evil.

I mean, Kirishima didn't really fight Giganto. He threw a cannister into his mouth. That's pretty much what I think Sero will do. He'll do something that needs to be done where everyone else falls short.

I think it requires a will, too. Otherwise they would never be able to hold anything without decaying or making it weightless?
