Title of the next chapter... oh, silly me, there is no chapter this week.
Anyway, since the 23rd is the current Emperor's birthday, it will be a holiday. As a consequence, the magazine will release a day earlier, on Tuesday in Japan and on Monday for anyone living in the western timezones.

Wouldn’t say most competent, he did go insane
We didn't see anyone in the 10 Commandments, or even the DK himself, ever use the Commandments as competently as 4C Mael did. We didn't even know the Commandments had techniques outside of the passive curses!

Where was Scythe of Silence in the DK's final battle??

Sure as shit would have been useful against all of the Sins, and more specifically Escanor, Merlin and Gowther! :arf

I have a feeling that when the 10 commandments combine they simply become the Demon King’s consciousness. Pretty sure a few of the sins in the final fight would’ve violated at least some of the commandments rules. Safe to say when they all combine their individuality would cease to exist. Mael had 4 of them as individual commandments. Whereas they combined in Meliodas’ and Zeldris’ case.

Actual facts. Looking back on it is kind of nostalgic now though.

But then again, Nakaba never apologised to the fans he disappointed either...so, Idk whether I want to apologise to the mods...when Nakaba sliced some of us bad, then poured salt into that, then added insult as well...

If my memory serves me right, then the commandment makes the user immune to the action of other Commandments. Accordingly, it is logical to assume that this effect from the two Commandments will make the user immune to the effect of both. After all, by default, everyone is susceptible to the effects of commandments, respectively, it only gives resistance from all commandments, except for its own, and does not make the user vulnerable to the action of a particular commandment.
I considered that, but I concluded that the vulnerability to the curses would probably take precedence over the immunity. This is because some of the curses seemed to have been designed with specific members of the Ten Commandment in mind. Monspeet's Commandment prevents people from expressing their hidden feelings, which is only a problem for those that have hidden feelings in the first place, such as Monspeet. Someone like Galand presumably wouldn't have suffered any drawbacks from that. He was instead given a curse that targets those that lie or go back on their word, which is very dangerous for a boastful moron like him. Meliodas, who displayed his greatest feats of strength when angry, was given a Commandment that weakens him if he feels hatred. Zeldris was made to be unable to go against the Demon King, even though he didn't care about his father's plans and just wanted to be with Gelda. If the Demon King went out of his way to give some of his elites the specific Commandments that would be the most difficult for them to follow, then it would be counterproductive if they could weasel their way out of following those rules just by obtaining more of them. Even just having two at once would cause them to negate each other along with all the others. It would therefore make more sense to me that anyone in possession of multiple Commandments would have to follow all of them.

The revel about the first Holy War was that it was the goddesses were the ones to start it, and their actions were what led the demons being as hostile as they were. After that point, the demons weren't shown as destructive before, and the whole soul devouring never came back up except with Estarossa. By the end of the series, I would say the Demon King was the only non-sympathetic named demon left, since aside from the ones who had already died, the rest were given backstories to justify their actions.
The goddesses were the ones who triggered the holy war by drawing all the other clans into it, but the conflict between the demons and goddesses was just something they did. This was elaborated on by the SD in the movie. Considering that humans, fairies and giants all agreed that the demons had to go, the demons must have been pretty nasty towards them as well.

Don't know how to argue with that, since it appears that the manga and the movie are contradicting each other. Unless the underground had the majority of people, Merlin not knowing about them shouldn't affect her statement. And I presumed there were still demons around due to the whole situation with the Coffin. Just Meliodas could explain that, but that seems overkill.
It's not necessarily a contradiction, it just depends on how the numbers work out. Merlin said that they had managed to evacuate most of the citizens, not including those hiding underground. If you take the people they failed to save, combine those with all the people underground and then factor in the people who died in battle when the demons first conquered Camelot, you could very well end up with quite a large body count. I'd say it's totally possible that Meliodas was the only target of the COED given that he's one of the strongest people in the world and has previously demonstrated that he is capable of injuring or even killing gods. I don't know how much of a threat he would pose to Arthur, but at the very least he has the power to wipe out all of the Chaos Knights in one attack. It makes sense that Ironside would be very concerned about him. Alternatively, it's possible that triggering the COED wouldn't just affect Britannia, but also the Demon Realm and all the demons living there.

They weren't there during the planning or when the fighting began, or when Estarossa and Derieri showed up, so they must have joined pretty late in the war. Regardless, they weren't there when the Holy War was named, which was my point. And according to Talisker, even helping the other races was considered a major sin, and he intended for Ordo to destroy them, but monster Ordo was still lenient towards them. It definitely seems as if they have an equal hatred toward all the other races.
Their forces were mentioned in chapter 257 when the battle plan was first laid out. It was Ludociel who informed everyone of this, so I think it's likely that he always intended to have them join the battle. It's possible that he had even contacted them before he arrived in Liones, because the giants and fairies both lived about 100 miles away and could still mobilize their forces and travel to the battlefield in about a day or so. As for Talisker, he says that he initially just advised Ordo to stop helping the fairies and giants. It was only after Ordo refused that Talisker turned him into a monster, but even then he just wanted Ordo to "raze the land" instead of killing all the non-humans. That seems to me like a more peaceful approach than Ardbeg spending who knows how long trying to wipe out the demon village, or Ironside being willing to sacrifice an entire human town to trigger the COED. Talisker didn't behave as if the fairies and giants had been involved in slaughtering his countrymen and destroying his kingdom.

Well I presume that Camelot wasn't destroyed the second time, that's just the belief due to it being gone. That would explain how it could both have fallen and still be around as we're told. As for Meliodas being the leader, it can easily not be meant as literal - Ironside's comments to the people of Sistana proclaimed that Liones was evil, and that they were gathering the Four Knights of the Apocalypse, "dreadful demons" according to him, to destroy the world. So we were shown Arthur's knights don't have an issue with claiming they're opposing demons when they're really not. We know that it's not merely the Sins, but Liones itself that is considered Camelot's largest opposing force according to Arthur. Gowther also stated that the Sins were the sworn enemies of Arthur. Add in Tristan working as an agent of Liones, and it would be really strange if there hadn't be some major conflict between the two kingdoms to establish their need to both build forces against each other.
I suppose Camelot's supposed destruction could be explained as Arthur teleporting it away or something, but that doesn't address the deaths of his countrymen. Why would so few of them survive the destruction of Camelot, if what actually happened was the kingdom just being moved? What's more, your theory is that this happened in a fight against the Sins, and I don't see why they would kill a bunch of civilians, especially after going out of their way to save them earlier. I doubt Arthur would do something that endangered his people either, given that the trauma of losing them seems to have contributed towards him wanting to get rid of the other clans. I think it makes more sense to assume that Arthur never rebuilt Camelot in Britannia to begin with, and opted to just construct a giant graveyard in its place while secretly constructing the everlasting kingdom in an entirely separate realm. This sequence of events doesn't mean that the Sins couldn't have confronted Arthur at some point, but I highly doubt that it would have been some sort of a massive battle that killed a bunch of people and potentially wiped out the kingdom again. This is supported by how Ironside doesn't seem to know just how powerful the Sins truly are, since he thought destroying some house monsters would put someone on their level. Some sort of a smaller skirmish makes more sense to me, but even that's not really necessary for the two parties to consider each other as enemies seeing how their values are in direct opposition to one another. The conflict between Camelot and Liones could be as simple as Arthur's knights going around terrorizing non-humans, and Liones responding by sending their knights to put a stop to it.

You mention Ironside lying about Meliodas' role, which wouldn't be too surprising given that he seems to be full of lies, but the problem is that it wasn't Ironside, but Donny who said Camelot was wiped out by the leader of the demons. You could argue that he was affected by propaganda, but Donny is a student and close relative of Howzer's, the captain of Liones' knights and someone who actually participated in the Holy War. I very much doubt that Donny would want anything to do with Liones if he believed that they were evil kingdom destroyers, or that Howzer would never correct him about it. It would be yet another situation where characters have differing accounts of the events but somehow nobody realizes this even when the characters discuss these events.

I understand it. However, when we consider the abilities of the Commandments, we must take into account the fact that vulnerability to the Commandments is their natural property, while immunity from them is an acquired property. That is, literally, the Commandment itself, when absorbed by someone, does not give vulnerability to it, everyone is ALREADY vulnerable to its action by default. It gives immunity. Here, it would be more logical to assume that the Demon King originally did not intend to give a specific demon from the commandment squad more than one Commandment. At the same time, from the information in the manga, the only logical conclusion would be that two or more Commandments will simply block the vulnerabilities to each other. Well, that is, what reason to believe that if Piety and Truth give immunity to each other in different characters, they will lose this property in one?

Lancelot's Shining Road doesn't only share its name with his counterpart's signature move from Rising Impact, but also looks and works almost the same:

Here's how Tristan's Falling Star appeared in Rising Impact:

So it's safe to assume that one of MnY's Tristan attacks will be a giant star falling from above. This can also explain his "fiery" appearance in ch.5
maybe it's a move taught by melidoas ..if u remember Chandler his master did the meteor works

Teleporting to Liones out of nowhere is quite an abrupt shift in the story. I thought there would be a short arc in-between the Lancelot reveal and Tristan's introduction, but it looks like they might be entering the story pretty much back to back. I guess that's appropriate considering that the two of them were first mentioned back to back when Meliodas and Ban named their sons in the 2nd to last chapter of NNT. It also fits Nakaba's statement about wanting to introduce the KOTA faster than the Sins.

Not sure how I feel about the whole thing with Lancelot testing Percival. I can understand where he's coming from, but it still bothers me that he had the means to teleport to Liones this entire time. Maybe this was a last resort now that his cover has been blown and even Arthur regards him as a threat? The way Pellegarde was handled was also pretty weird. Why foreshadow his arrival if it's not actually going to amount to anything? I guess he did see Lancelot, but the crystal that Arthur was holding seemed similar to the one Pellegarde used to monitor things through his wolf familiar. In that case Arthur would already be aware of what went down.

Donny's dagger shattering like that could explain why Lancelot didn't want to use his bow to fire off the attack. Perhaps him using Shining Road in Sistana broke his spear earlier, and that's why he doesn't have it with him anymore? That would also give him a motive to go find Dubs, since he can't fight effectively without a weapon that can withstand the strain of his magic power. He did say that finding Dubs is a personal goal rather than something was ordered to do. I wonder if Donny will get another knife to replace the old one or if he's going to switch to a different weapon, maybe something that syncs well with telekinesis.

I liked how Lancelot's personality was made more nuanced in this chapter. Last week he seemed like a bit of an edgelord, but he actually does have respect for his opponents and is even willing to build graves for them. Planting seeds on the graves to promote the growth of the forest also fits well with his fairy origins.

Now that the gang is finally in Liones we'll probably be seeing some familiar faces soon. Meliodas, Elizabeth, Gil, Howzer, Griamore, Dreyfus, Hendy, Guila, maybe Jericho. Some of the couples should have kids already by now.

I don't think they were ever in any danger against these guys, since Lancelot could have killed all of the Dark Talismans in seconds. The only time the party was genuinely in danger was when they faced Ironside, who actually managed to kill Percival. However, back then they absolutely had to break the COED to prevent Meliodas from being sealed away, so running away wasn't really an option.
he could've teleported cause pelgarde came in and he mightve beentough opponent so ..they just jumped

What's happening to Pellegarde reminds me of what happened to Hawk mama at the end of NnT. He was supposed to appear in specific occasions. However, he has missed the opportunity to complete the job or even act at all. I like the build up, and have high expectations of this black knight when his time comes.

*****

For the magic abilities, it is worth noting that the three names that appeared on bottles in NnT each have two names in Rising Impact. (Gawain is not a confirmed character and a Knight of Apocalypse in MnYK yet, but he will be one soon enough!)

Lancelot's is called Shining road and also 月の導き.

Tristan's is called Falling Star and also 風の流星群.

Gawain's is called Rising Impact and also 太陽の光跡.

In each case, the second name can help us better understand the meaning behind those abilities. I'm not knowledgeable enough to reliably translate them (and so I didn't put translations there.)
However, I decided it's good to inform you about these more DESCRIPTIVE names. They can help some fans to have more realistic ideas rather than some overhyped ones!

As I haven't seen the movie, are you saying it retcons what the manga showed as what triggered it - Meliodas switching sides? It's true that we were told the two races were basically always at odds, but the handful of glimpses we were given of their conflict nearly all had the goddesses as the offensive party - Rou and his his group Betraying Stigma due to either village being wiped outr just for saving a demon, Derieri's hatred because of them taking hostages and killing her sister, and the killing of the real Gowther's lover. The demons may be bad, but based on what we were shown, they were pushed towards that due to situations. And not sure how dependable the other races siding with the goddesses is when we know they're big on mental manipulation.

It makes sense that Ironside would be very concerned about him. Alternatively, it's possible that triggering the COED wouldn't just affect Britannia, but also the Demon Realm and all the demons living there.
I would've assumed the number underground would have been less then those captured, which should have been quite a lot since it was Zeldris and his commandment that captured them. And I was under the impression that those underground were saved by Nanashi, or at the very less most of them. Remember that despite it's power, Chaos still got sealed by it's creations. So I don't think it's strange that as powerful as he is, Arthur would still be cautious, especially if it's as I believe and Chaos can't directly destroy things.

Talisker didn't behave as if the fairies and giants had been involved in slaughtering his countrymen and destroying his kingdom.
I missed that. I suppose it's possible, but that seems unlikely given the timeframe we saw - It doesn't seem like a lot of time past between Ludociel saving Gil and arriving in Liones, since the Sins saving Eli and the citizens happen concurrently, unless you meant Ludociel did it before saving Gil. As for Talisker, I think raze is suppose to mean eliminating them in that context, because Ordo's actions did scare off the fairies and giants, yet Talisker was still upset at them just being chased out and did remark about Arthur's goal being no other races existing to threaten humanity. Ardbeg also mentioned wiping out the other races and returning Britannia to humans.

I suppose Camelot's supposed destruction could be explained as Arthur teleporting it away or something, but that doesn't address the deaths of his countrymen. Why would so few of them survive the destruction of Camelot, if what actually happened was the kingdom just being moved? It would be yet another situation where characters have differing accounts of the events but somehow nobody realizes this even when the characters discuss these events.
I brought up Ironside not merely because we see him lying, but that we were shown him lying to an entire town and having them believe him. If random people can believe that Meliodas and Liones are evil, they can also believe that Camelot was wiped out with only a few survivors. Unless we were misled with the original series, or Camelot's population was far larger then it appeared, there was more then just a few survivors from the previous Holy War. Seems more like the claim of a few survivors is more meant for sympathy then the situation as it was. That being said, the reason I believe that said potential conflict would have involved more then just Arthur and the Sins is that Arthur's goal involves destroying Liones, not merely the Sins, and we have had several comments mentioning Liones itself being in conflict with Arthur and Camelot. I suppose Liones could be a target just because of Meliodas, though we haven't seen characters having trouble calling out the Sins themselves as a threat. And perhaps it is merely due to plot, but Liones doesn't seem to be actively pushing back against Arthur's forces.

As far as we saw, Donny wasn't aware of much of the current situation, unlike Howzer - he knew about Lancelot's secret mission, and according to his own words, that they're in a war against Arthur. He also showed a greater concern about the CoED being used, with Donny seemingly not being aware of what the demons being sealed would mean, meaning he doesn't know what Meliodas is. It would come down to what Howzer actually taught Donny, which given his personality might not have been much, and what Donny would of picked up after leaving.
