well i was thinking once i get my wii that I'd only use the classic controller
for fighting games. the A button was always too huge for fighting games.

...wiring for the controlers? The most problem you could have with it is probably forgetting to put on the wriststrap and throwing it at your TV. There is only really one wire that connects the nunchuk to the wiimote and its a solid connection. the rest is wireless, unless you decide to go old school and connect your gamecube controler though I wouldn't see why anyone would play a gamecube game on the wii.
I think it was more the internal wiring (electrical circuit things?) <.<

"Nintendo gets sued over broken Wii straps..."

Who didn't see that coming? :tem

Though Nintendo announced it would voluntarily replace the first round of its Wii Remote wrist straps due to rampant breaking, the decision wasn't enough for one gamer from Texas. A lawsuit was filed against the gaming giant for "unfair and deceptive practices" by providing straps that proved to be ineffective.

According to the lawsuit, "The controller is an essential component of any video game console, and so [the] plaintiff is unable to use the Nintendo Wii for its intended purposes as a result of the broken wrist band. Accordingly, it renders the Wii console, which retails in the United States for $250, useless."

Nintendo responded to the lawsuit, saying, "We believe the lawsuit to be completely without merit." The case is pending.

I wonder if it's from someone whose TV got a crack on the screen thanks to the wriststrap snapping off at the wrong time ;)

I'm at my moms right now, updating my console on her wireless network.

Would a thread where we could share Wii/DS friend codes be a good idea?

You right Zypher, people here DO sue for almost anything, and they do because they WIN. Someone sued McDonald's because they spilled their HOT coffee in their and lap and got burned... well no shit! Another time, someone BROKE INTO SOMEONE ELSE'S HOUSE TO ROB THEM, got hurt, sued the person they were trying to rob, and WON. The way people can sue in America over everything and win is ridiculous. You don't even need to legally be here to sue and win.

DS Recommendations !

Heya guys,
Lately i've had a really really great desire for a Nintendo DS, but i'm too busy with my VCE studies to get one, so end of this year, when i finally finish high school and move into Uni, i'll have heaps of time and granted i get a good enter, the ability to buy a DS ^__^.
So i've compiled a list of games that i'm looking forward to get, based on using a flash cartridge.
Would i be able to get everyone's help ? I'm a bit of an electronics-techie but i'm not that good with DS and the latest info.

1. What flash cart would you recommend using, so far i've the R4 cart is reliable, runs well and is cheap, are there any others you'd recommend?

2. This is my list, any game recommendations? ^__^ Feel free to inform me.

Thanks !

Zelda
Cooking MAMA
Phoenix Wright 1/2/3/4
Bomberman: Touchland
Sonic Rush Adventure

Re: DS Recommendations !

Oh serious? Yeah i've always been a fan of the Pokemon series, i guess it really grows on you, i remember during my 14th christmas or thereabout, i aws so excited to play Pokemon blue, which was the first one that ever came out.. gosh the memories, i played for the whole day until a family dinner, it was great, haha.

Yeah i've used an emulator before but it didn't work that great, plus lack of portability but from what ive seena nd the games coming out, i really want one.

Thanks Imp, for your reco!! ^__^
