I think Zoro will retire to Wano and become a daiymo of Ringo. As a person with royal blood he'll get with Hiyori. His personality fits well in Wano culture so better romantic prospects.

I think Zoro will retire to Wano and become a daiymo of Ringo. As a person with royal blood he'll get with Hiyori. His personality fits well in Wano culture so better romantic prospects.

Yeah I hope all the SH live through to the end, even Luffy. Yep I don't mind the SH disbanding at the end of the story to all go do their own thing similar to Roger pirates & WB pirates.

That's true I never did get a relationship vibe from Zoro and Kuina. But since they were kids, I thought it would have likely become something like that had they gotten a chance to grow up together. Tashigi to me has always felt like Oda giving Zoro an adult Kuina.

I have not dismissed the possibility of them referring to Zuneisha on these panels, and Oda baiting us because Luffy's fruit is also more than we knew about, but yes, I'm way more inclined to think they're talking about Luffys fruit. The combination of these panels, Who's Who comments, Kaidos comments on the weird usage of the fruit, and what's happening to Luffy this chapter makes for too many things pointing that way, but I don't think the Gorosei part NECESSARILY ties to this, unlike Who's Who, who mentioned the fruit itself, but it seems more likely than not.

You however stated the chapter before the reveal that it could be Zunesha? Meaning you had no evidence to be certain of anything.
You then pretty much insinuate Luffy isn't Rubber especially due to Kaido's comment which ended up being irrelevant because he is Rubber.

If Kaido was your evidence of his not being Rubber, and Zunesha possibly being the one the Gorosei were speaking about, and Luffy not being rubber... I have no idea how you so confidently can claim there were dots connected that made it clear it was Luffy.

Literally the only thing most of you got was guessing the fruit was Luffy's, but you actually gave no valid reason as to how or explained why anything made sense. All the above reasonings given ended up being pretty much redundant in the conclusion.

The things that go for "keeping Luffy as Rubber":

• Oda's own commentary on why he chose that ability to begin with
• Luffy's constant "Cause I'm Rubber" talk
• his resistance to Enel's attacks
• The seemingly apathetic behavior towards Luffy's abilities until recently

Against it being rubber:

• IDC how HP tries to justify it. The WG response to the Gomu Gomu no Mi's theft by Shanks is fucking weird. The shifting of priorities from Robin to Luffy was extremely weird. The fact that Who's Who was punished so severely for losing one of the silliest fruits is insane.
• The mention of awakening by the gorosei in tandem with the reveal about the Gomu Gomu no Mi's theft
• The specific mention of changing an ability's name. It makes sense that an ability would be "renamed" to something convincing. Whatever Luffy is, rubber seems like a logical explanation, even if Luffy isn't really rubber.
• The fact that no other fruit seems like a candidate. We know Kaido's ability is terrifying. Same with Linlin's. Kidd and Law both have abilities that are powerful enough, and especially Law's is well known, but already awakened. Zou doesn't make a lot of sense because the WG must have known about Zou. It wouldn't make sense for Zou to elude them.

I could see this working perhaps if only Im had been privy to this "awakening" and recently communicated it to the Gorosei - which would explain the lack of care towards Luffy's ability, specifically, until now. Also, it feels like Luffy should have awakened his ability by now. He seems to constantly encounter awakened users (and I'm not convinced Kaido isn't an awakened user).

Kaido did specifically comment that rubber shouldn't be able to do what Luffy does, which is true. His snake-man attacks make no sense.
In fact, gear four in general, makes zero sense.

You questioned my logic, I'm just saying your logic regarding the development was not on point either.

You can't question reasoning when yours wasn't sound, you questioned Luffy being Rubber when it turns out he was Rubber. You made it out like Luffy was not Rubber.

I can actually take credit for making a valid point being, what substitutes for Rubber? Which I did say would potentially have me concede to the view it could be Luffy they were talking about and you nor anyone could provide substitutes.

I asked logical questions and you nor anyone were able to provide answers.

So when you or anyone acts like they had it all figured out, my point is you didn't, you were wrong too. And like I said, I got some things wrong, and got some things right, and so did the people saying it was Luffy, they guessed right, but fundamentally were wrong with their reasons - got somethings right, and some things wrong.

It just doesn't change the fact that your claim that people had all this apparent evidence in place when the claims were:
Luffy's not rubber.
Rubber can't move like this even though it was due to Haki.
Zunesha is the DF user the Gorosei were talking about.
Mercury is Luffy's DF.

And then tell me, they had it figured out. It doesn't quite checkout.

I dont mind the development, just a few more hints from before chapter 1000 that hints that it was special for the govt.... Luffy's ability is OP, but BB having 2 DFs is even more, and with awakening probably even more..

Now question is if he shows up in Wano, will he go for Luffy's DF or Kaido's DF. what do u guys think if it happens..

I only saw a meme highlighting he has one eye closed while attacking but I re-read the latest chapters and he also has his other eye closed during another attack so I don't think there's anything to it. On the other hand I don't know about the whole theory.

Not sure if, any of these characters have eye patches. Interesting considering it’s a pirate manga and all…
