Thanks for hosting this round @Nii it was very fun to follow the rankings and I certainly learned some new things about Fate in general and some characters.

I appreciate all the high effort posts and thoughts, you are no doubt a big Fate fan. Tho it‘s a shame you‘re not much into power level discussions, when you have all these strong characters it‘s rather fun to match and compare, for me at least

I feel like this list could easily look way different on another day, but Shirou and Artoria would always remain at the top.

Tfw you watch 5 series of a franchise and only know a small fraction of what's going on haha. Mostly reading and taking mental notes this rd. Still my top 7 placing in the top 8 felt good, and I scored 5 partners, 6 being my lucky numba. Nothing but respect and appreciation for Nii's passion and effort, it was great and ofc the contributions from other Fate connoisseurs.

I like most of the original Fate/Stay Night cast, nothing to do with any particular route Saber also has the advantage over Sakura just by the fact that she gets way more time in the spotlight than Sakura, who basically only got one route in the VN and that's it outside some small exceptions. In the end I like all of the main trio (Saber, Rin, Sakura), so it's not like there's a world of difference between them even if I put the other two a bit lower than Saber : D

I also thought that. Seeing Mash on there is a bit unexpected too.

I mean especially the lower ranks could be replaced with someone else on another day. I wanted some variety for my list, so that's another factor. There probably are at least 20 characters I could've put in my Top 10, but with so many good chars in Fate it's not so easy

Some specific points :
-Kuranosuke (Kuragehime) is eligible in males edition.
- But Yamato and Kiku are in females edition (for reasons already discussed, Kiku is transgender and in official data Yamato is female)
- Houseki no Kuni gems are neutral, they have no gender, but if you want to nominate them I prefer them in females edition, due mainly to the feminization in the anime.
- Anonymous in Shimanami Tasogare, could be eligible in any.

Yeah I think so. If you meant to ask if I would accept that you send both lists, at once, I don't mind it at all.

I do agree with Zimby's answer, it's just a variation of the original one, but if you want a specific version/variant/design of a character , let me know, so i will feature it in countdown, But it won't count as another character. It will be counted as goku.
Same goes for a character child and adult versions exple Naruto, or Luffy or gaara etc.

Interesting question, I d say nope, it's the reflection of this character soul, so i will count it as the character. it's a similar situation for one of the exple featured in previous post, Vincent Law's true appearance in ergo proxy, is this :

the one i posted above is, let's say, his other form.
But whenever you want to nominate a specific form of a character, say it so I will feature it in countdown designs.

Exple you want to nominate jotaro for the design of his stand, tell me I ll add it, but in jotaro's entry. that goes for stuff like beast nen in HxH, or character wearing costumes/masks like Hei in Darker than Black, or for characters with dual identities and appearances etc.
