Do authors really think that readers only care about OP characters/we'd care more if a character suddenly is stated [not shown] to be more powerful than they appeared before they died?

The more overpowered a character is, the less I find myself caring - as they easily become plot untouchable (or, worse yet, another character has to be introduced specifically [and solely] to prove a 'challenge' and be something to overcome)

I dont even know Sasakibe. But in the end this fails with Ace too, since he doesnt even has 1 win up his belt.

I dont even count the draw vs. smoker in the anime. Its just ridiculous and yet we shall believe that he was on a level with luffy(if not better).

All this retconning makes him just more pathetic. Since it doesnt change anything about his record its just annoying.

If it comes to powerlvl discussions around ace its always: In the novel he has this and that.

The more i think about it, the more annoyed i get.

Does Asta really have "Black" as surname?

I think I used to hate Rachel when I was younger but I don't anymore. Pretty effective as an antagonist IMO.

No idea, haven't watched, but it would mostly come out together when i was looking for the pics on google search so just added. :catshrug

And Rachel has major bitch vibes. I didn't come far in the story because I wouldn't get why that guy want to save or show her the stars or whatever so bad smh

BTW I regret not putting something on Inoue and Bakugo, but I hate similar stuff.
They're badly written, and pretty much just a trope. Inoue never develops her character in a way that is credible. She's just big boobs. Bakugo is only there to be unrealistically angry all the time without no good reason. It's not even actually tied to his powers, just a bad pun.

Both of them never grew out of it even after attempts by their respective authors.

Honestly I could have made a top ten with just Black Clover. It's incredible how I really like (or at least really like the first few arcs) the story when I dislike most of the characters.
