Last night's episode was okay for me. I don't really care for Juliette as a character personally. I saw Locke releasing Ben happening soon anyways. The only big revelation is that Penny's father is the guy funding the guys from the boat. That seemed to be a likely conclusion given how rich he is and his involvement with Desmond.

Agreed. Anyone's guess to who the guy on the boat is at all?

Me personally. I think its Michael. Certainly someone we have seen already.

yep, michael was my first thought as well. it's gotta be him

i didn't hate it, but this episode was probably my least favorite so far this season. it may have had something to do with it being a juliet-centric episode since she's not exactly my favorite character, but to me, her and goodwin's relationship seemed a bit contrived and kind of an afterthougt.

the previews said we were going to find out the last of the oceanic 6. so far we have jack, kate, hurley, and sayid..........i'm not sure if they are counting aaron or not, but on wikipedia he's not listed under oceanic 6. anyway, if he isn't being counted it will most likely be both sun and jin leaving the island, imo. if he is being counted, it will be sun leaving the island by herself. what do you guys think?

The rumors are already swarming that the spy is Michael...but if that's the case, than where is Walt? And why is he randomly appearing to Locke?

Yeah, it seems that Aaron wasn't counted as one of the Oceanic Six. My guess is because technically, he wasn't on the plane's manifest since he wasn't born yet.

Jin and Sun make sense I guess...who knows. We'll find out next week since I think it's a Sun-centric episode judging by the previews.

Yeah probably the most boring episodes of the season so far. Juliette looks more and more like hamster.....
I think the most interesting part about that episode was when Harper appeared in the jungle surrounded by the whispering........a throwback to the first season.

This episode was nuts. Michael is the spy apparently, so what happened to Walt? And Jin is MIA. He could be dead or he could still be back on the island and the grave is from when Sun came back. I'll admit, the use of Jin's flash back(not a flash forward! grr) was bs, it was deliberately confusing and had no real bearing on the episode. Although the year of the dragon bit was a little bit of a tell, considering that meant the year was either 2000 or 2012. I didn't realize they had been married for 4 or 5 years though so that part threw me off.

To answer xi0's question about Walt's appearance to Locke, we've seen that the black monster can make you see things. It showed Mr. Ecko's his brother and when Ecko didn't do what it wanted it killed him.

Also I think they're counting Aaron as one of the 6 since he got off with Kate. I hope Jin is still on the island and not actually dead because he's a great character.

No I think the creators stated that Aaron doesn't count since he technically wasn't a passenger on the the plane.

Also, that bait and switch at the end caught me by surprise. Since Sun and Jin's flashbacks were always intertwined, the audience was faked into believing that they were going on at the same time...it was a dastardly thing to do by the writers, but it did end up making sense.

I think this means that there's one more member of the Oceanic 6 yet to be revealed.

About Walt...the reason I brought it up is that there is a definite pattern of who appears to the Survivors via Black cloud. Jack's Father (dead), Eko's Brother (Dead), and this is just my theory, but the horse that appeared to Kate multiple times was the same horse that was in the middle of the road which caused the car the spin out of control and let her escape when she was being taken to her arraignment...Aside from the horse because, who knows? It appears the people who appear to one another are dead. I also think that Harper was a product of the Black Cloud, since the whispers started prior to her appearing to Juliet two episodes ago, but we don't know what became of her yet.

All this points to Walt being dead maybe. Why Michael is on the Kahana is still a mystery to me.

That's a really good theory. I think you're right. After all, that would partly explain why Michael is on a ship and not raising his kid. Or Ben blackmailed him or something.

i liked the episode, though. michael as the spy was very predictable, but i am intrigued to see what they are going to do with him (and why he's there in the first place).

I also believe that Jin is still alive on the island...just for the fact she was saying at his grave 'I miss you so much.' (Although i know that can also imply he's dead).

Seriously? Can you probe that?

Because if the date of the crash was on the tombstone then that can have MANY implications. It means that the Oceanix 6 was indeed sworn to secrecy and in return they probably get many benefits. It also means everyone other than the Oceanic 6 is not thought to be alive, despite whether they are really alive or dead. So it could be true that Jin isn't really dead if all this holds true.

Why else list Jin's death as the day of the crash?!
