If a grocery store serves food and has a place designated for eating, those who use it are required to show proof of vaccination. That is obviously not the same as being banned from "shopping for food", but obviously certain groups of people have motivation for framing it that way, don't they?
The soviet union was basically a third world country. Meanwhile the US dollar is the world's reserve coin, Food stamps, unemployment and whichever other nonsense you bring up is basically peanuts to the magnitude of the impact of this issue.

You don't need an ID to get a vaccine, so I don't understand the point of this post. Do you ever double-check your information before you post, or is egg on your face something you really enjoy?

Vaccine mandates aren't killing jobs. If anything it's making job openings because the folk unwilling to vaccinate will move to jobs where they're lax on vax requirements, while anyone else with human empathy will just get the jab and take the job left by the dumbfuck who was willing to lose his job and potentially become homeless over a political statement.
My point here is that the implications of this go far beyond just US social security or food stamps. The US dollar is the foundation of world commerce. China and russia have wet dreams about their currencies being used in international trade but barring a few countries over which they have a lot of influence that's but a pipe dream for the foreseeable future. The risk of a default is pretty much unlimited... And a bigger threat to the US than china or russia.Saddam Hussein dropped the dollar as a reserve currency around the year 2000.
China, russia, japan and other nations publicly announced and practiced "de dollarization" policies for many years now.
Long story short, every nation around the world has watched the US deficit grow and taken steps to isolate themselves and their economies from the expected demise of the dollar.

I don't think companies are laying off workers right now. I mean, I am sure you can cherrypick some but the macro situation at the US remains that there is a massive worker shortage. Companies at the US right now are acting under the assumption that if they lose an employee they are not replacing him or her for a while....
This was last year. From what I've heard from job seekers, companies are actually not hiring some/most people despite saying they need workers, which makes me think that they're trying to freeze out people and force them to accept less benefits/money.
