I've never understood the implication that disliking biden should result in preferring to vote for trump. Does biden being incompetent mean republicans are suddenly going to make universal healthcare a thing and deal with climate change and deal with the US' inherent problems from it's BS campaign donor laws and destroy the blatantly anti democratic electoral college?

That's what I was getting at in my response to DeadCosmos. I don't vote for politicians based on whether I like them or not, I vote for them based on their likelihood of promoting the policies I agree with.

I genuinely doubt he cares at all about what Biden has done in the white house because he never engages with comments about good things he's done.

What's the issue exactly?

I don't think that statement will last very long.

But its ok, Biden won't remember he said it.

Because one side of the political spectrum's navel-gazing single-issue political mindset is to the detriment of way more people than they realize, but don't care enough to examine any of that in a wider scope.

If it wasn't Biden saying this and was some other Democrat President, would your reaction be the same?

There is no perceivable difference between Biden and other democrat Presidents.

edit

In terms of policy.

I don't think anyone's thrilled about another Biden term except old black ladies that think he's best friends with Obama. And yes, it does suck having to settle for what the Dems give us... but you do what you can do until you can do better. Until you can do more. I'll never be so disillusioned by the Democratic party that I choose not to vote, choose to vote Republican, or choose to vote for a left leaning candidate that I'm afraid is too far left to get the nomination.

It's a good idea to keep tabs on potential candidates but a better idea to remain skeptical. Don't wanna get your hopes up to the point you waste a vote. I know people personally that voted for Yang.
A lot of left wingers I know are to the point that they'll refuse to vote, because of how Biden has handled crises and broken promises, as well as continued violence. Biden doing things like giving LGBT+ members back their protections/rights is why I don't regret voting for him, as well as him not being openly bigoted or lying to spread hate the way Trump does, but he's failed in other aspects so far. Student loans haven't been cancelled, and we haven't gotten a pandemic stimulus other than $1,400 once (despite being promised $2,000) and $300 per week for few weeks (half of what we got under Trump). Then you have him approving billions of dollars to Pentagon, Ukraine, police, etc after saying we don't have enough to support people who actually need the aid.

I'm glad I knew Yang was trash as soon as he kept playing a "centrist." Dude took it too easy on bigots and kept saying we should listen to their opinions. Love how he further self-destructed his political career by pretending to be a New Yorker, supporting Israel (or at least, didn't support Palestine), and saying stupid things.

There are a ton of libs who support Biden as if he's an extension of Obama or something. A return to "normalcy" after Trump, without realizing that politicians like Biden are why Trump was taken seriously in the first place. If Covid never happened, Biden would have never won IMO.
I agree. Some former Trump supporters turned against him after seeing how he handled covid months after March. Before that they were confident in him and thought he knew what he was doing.

We all know republicans would be way worse, but the mayor is closer to a republican than he is to liberal or left, at least in some issues like this.

And let's not pretend as if you don't support this.

Oh, and is this contrapoints? Seems she's tweeting now, and doesn't seem to be bullied. Hmm.

You didn't really mention his policy though, you mentioned his mental faculties. Is this fair policy or not?

Do you think there is no difference between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders policy wise?

Let me save you the trouble

He's going to say yes
I expect it, but I'd rather give him the opportunity to argue in bad faith than just assume he would lol.

Bernie Sanders is a whistle blower who was thrown overboard by democrats for snitching about things no one knows about.

(Well, I know what it was about, but no one else does.)

Biden never snitched or blew the whistle on anything.

Aside from that, should we expect a massive departure in either of their policies.

bruh, why did Madison Cawthorn expose his colleagues like that? Stated something that most of us knew about them, and for no reason at all other than attention, most likely.

Yes. It's as simple as looking at what policies they claimed to support and then comparing them. How would you feel if I claimed Mitt Romney and David Duke were the same policy wise just because both are Republican?

I bet some shady shit behind scenes has him upset. Kinda like how Giuliani kept mentioning he was prepared for if Trump backstabs him. That he has an "insurance policy".

I don't like Mitt Romney or David Duke & wouldn't particularly care if you painted them both with the same brush.

Technically, Duke is a democrat who tried unsuccessfully to switch parties to become a republican.

Duke has much more in common with democrats than he does republicans, no matter which party he is officially affiliated with.

This is what you should write for all of your posts/replies. It would be a huge time-saver.

Let's just say its my opinion.

And leave it at that.
What is your opinion? I'm just asking whether you think what he tweeted makes sense economically or not, not whether you think he's full of shit or too demented to follow through with it.

It shouldn't matter whether you like either person or not. I'm asking if they are identical politically or not.

Why do you despise the idea of honesty so much?

Its not a brag.

I'm one of the few thousand people in the world that knows why Bernie Sanders was disavowed by democrats.

Is an orange politically identical to an apple.

Thanks for asking the hard questions bro.

I'm confident if I asked you that question you'd claim that they're "both fruit" in order to dismiss the obvious difference between them, the same way you're doing for Biden and Bernie right now.

Thanks for asking the hard questions bro.
If it were easy you'd answer directly.

Water is *obviously* completely different from the condition of being wet.

Just as socialism is *obviously* completely different from communism.

(Common democrat themes)

I don't even want to debate any of this.

Why are you trying to pull me into it.

So then you'd prefer if he raised your taxes then, gotcha.
