I don't either. Like, I find it hard to believe someone referred to her that way outside of a medical setting. There's a real, clinical purpose to these kinds of classifications.

This is the same person who routinely points out how all of this culture war BS is propagated by elites to distract us from potential class conflict, yet she tweets this RadFem, TERF-adjacent nonsense and has Ben Shapiro and company retweeting it.

It's both, in a clinical sense. Not to just differentiate biological women from trans women or include trans men, plenty of biological women don't have uteruses and by extension can't menstruate or birth a child either. There's also infertile or post-menopausal women too. It may or may not apply to intersexed individuals as well.

So unless there's someone in her life refusing to use the word "woman" to refer to her or some huge movement online to do the same and I'm just not aware of it, I don't even know where this kind of complaint is coming from. Especially if you're supposed to be a lefty like she is.

If China wasn't a communist country or had communist in its name, I'm fully sure USA would not give a flying shit about TikTok spying on people. FB and etc are allowed to do almost whatever, and they've been caught selling people's data to other companies.

But if you mean all the other Chinese firms, well, they probably would. But TikTok is probably the only one who has that amount of global following, and subsequently, vast amounts of data.

Congress certainly has valid concerns. Problem is, it’s filled with a bunch of Boomers who are tech-illiterate and can’t be held accountable when it comes to the U.S’.s own firms. If they were at least a little bit consistent on this front, they would have earned more benefit of doubt when it came to this. But sadly, Politicians .

From the US perspective there's no reason for tik tok to not be a fairly severe security threat. And it's not like china allows social media from other places. There's zero reasons for the US or EU to allow tik tok.

The tweet is suggesting that misgendering the shooter is somehow an intentional thing to undermine them. There's no indication that this person is trans themselves or even an advocate. "Your rage is funny" in the bio, probably a troll.

Conservatives handwringing over 3 mass shooters being trans, while the 2800+ of them in the past 5 years being committed by cis men is of course completely irrelevant. I'd really challenge people to show me a more dishonest group of people. I'd be impressed if I wasn't so disgusted.
