I mean, sure, I am not defending those killings either. But there's a difference between there being casualties of war and a president intentionally ordering the mass killing of civilians.

On the other the epstein stuff touches on a big nerve for a whole bunch of conservative folk whose stance is generally that democrats of all walks of life are child murderers and rapists. Jubilee definitely only cares for views, but as for this individual video, I doubt this was the platform fascists would have wanted. They were shown to be absolute lunatics in front of a mainstream audience, and not politicians, but "normal people" who just threw openly racist remarks at Mehdi Hasan.

I think that helps more than it harms in the cause to rally people against fascism. I do not see how platforming matters a lot anymore when fascists are in the white house.

There's plenty of witness testimony that puts Trump in Epstein's orbit. Regardless of how you want to rationalize conspiracy theories there are a lot of genuine conspiracies that could be plausible here. For one, he was probably the most important prisoner when he "committed suicide" and the amount of failure that allowed his death seems suspect. They stuck a suicide risk who has tons of potentially damning testimony on important political figures across the globe into a cell with a malfunctioning camera and the guards fell asleep right as he commits suicide? Then they release a video where the metadata shows it was edited. Then you have the weird backpedaling by Bondi that now there was never any list and everything is good with Epstein.

Then you have Maxwell in prison (also awaiting a trial for Perjury, btw) for all of her collaboration with Epstein? There's literal pictures, and if I recall correctly, 80 witnesses, against Epstein. Then you have Epstein with so many powerful people within his orbit and also using his victims to recruit other victims (adding to their shame and potentially apprehensiveness toward providing any valuable testimony). Where there's smoke there's probably a fire.

The channel is pretty dumb. They find 20 of the worst people possible who have no qualms with showing that side of themselves in the public eye, and get an experienced debater to debate them. It's Ben Shapiro's tactic in reverse. It garners likes and a bunch of "oh lookie! They are so bad!" but the side effect that people tend to overlook is it gives them a huge platform to spread their views and show other alt-right that there's so many just like them. But hey, clicks, right?

And it goes like that with a lot of conspiracy theories when it comes to trump and his base. And don't get me wrong, the stuff with epstein's death to me stinks as much as it would to 99.999% of the population. I don't even mind a good old fashion conspiracy theory. My issue here is... It's one thing to see something like the epstein death and call BS. It's another to seriously believe that all the politicians and celebrities you don't like are adrenochrome fueled pedophiles. Trump has not publicly endorsed those theories of course but he has absolutely fanned them and hasn't taken any amount of time to correct anyone regarding those. He just let this nonsense benefit him politically. My post was more about hoping trump's base doesn't find a way to justify trump betraying them rather than the BS in epstein's death.

They probably don't give a shit, as long as their ideas are out there and shared. Fascism has also been normalized and accepted enough, and given Trump is the president, they likely feel safe continuing to platform it and hope more people think it valid.
