Was it my imagination or was this week pretty meh? So many shows, but only a few were good this week.

--> Op Altair is op, nuff said!

Fate/Apocrypha:
--> 9 episodes into this series and Jeanne hardly did anything except for talking bullshit and running like Sonic. ~~"How can an Assassin be wielding magecraft on par with an actual mage" Jeanne doesn't seem to be familiar with Fate logic. Gave me a good laugh at least.~~ (this was a bad translation, credits to niichan for pointing that out)
--> Sieg can casually walk into the castle an free everyone.
--> Moedred still fails to deliver any impressive combat feats so far, not even against a half dead Rider without her! mount in close combat.
--> Great fighting scenes and effects anyway.
--> Chiron never ceases to amaze me.
--> Astolfo!

Made in Abyss:
--> Riko sacrificing those cute animals.
--> Why was it necessary for Riko to drag Reg all the way and tire herself instead of waiting for 2 hours???
--> Not that much of a great episode, but decent enough to be considered here.

Kakegurui:
--> I kinda have mixed feelings about this episode. While Yumeko as an individual is fun to watch, the rest seems repetitive, boring and predictable.
--> Can't wait for Yomozuki to enter the stage some day.

Boku no Hero Academia:
--> Uhm, meh episode. :/

I wondered about that part too... I mean it's Riko we're talking about and she's just a kid, so it's not completely senseless that she would try looking for food, but it still felt weird, especially just after the training they went through. I heard the episode is mostly anime-original content though, so I guess they were trying to stretch that part and most of that probably didn't happen in the manga. Still a pretty good job then, it sure didn't feel like anime original content. I will probably pick up the manga at some point anyway, then I'm going to check if all of this was just a "filler".

Princess Principle EP 8

Oh wow! That was quite the episode.

Now we know the true story of Ange & Charlotte.

Ange suffered just as much as she did in the slums when she actually became the princess and had to play that role.

Gazelle is in just about every episode, she must be the most important spy for the duke of normandy.

They will probably have to try and eliminate her at some point, she also killed Dorotys's father so I want to see her gone.

Re:Creators EP 20

No surprise that Altair come back after what Sirius did, she was not going to be beaten that easily.

That plot twist at the end, adding her own creator into the story.

Really looking forward to watching next episode.

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. EP 8

That was quite the start to this episode lol.

They all did well to be able to ride bicycles pretty quickly.

Another girl added to the party.

It was funny how he tricked Lyon into saying his true feelings, but it worked.

Recall is very handy, that's a good spell he has learned.

Honorable Mentions

New Game!! EP 8

Another enjoyable episode.

That cat maid outfit part was pretty entertaining.

Momo will be a good rival for Aoba, now just waiting to see what happens when she meets the evil/devil Aoba for the 1st time.

Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS EP 16

That was really cool and intense watching Playmaker navigate all that.

Good old Kuriboh in there to take any damage.

Oh my, Playmaker lost all his cards before he had a turn, reminds me of the old Wind-Up hand loop combo.

Great save there by Blue Angel, returning the favour.

Looking forward to the next episode to see how the duel turns out.

Also got to watch the KanColle movie

Yes so happy I got to watch this.

I knew something was up with Kisaragi the moment they found her, she did sink after all.

Ah so they explained properly about the abyssal and fleet girls when it comes to sinking and rebirth.

Yudachi was great to watch in that night battle, she just went after all those abyssal's without any fear at all.

Kisaragi comes back to save her friend before she disappears.

When it was first mentioned that Fubuki didn't sustain any damage from the sea I had a feeling she must have been reborn.

Great movie, now just have to wait a while for the 2nd season, looking forward to it.

Honorable mention to Made in Abyss for by far the most shocking moment of the season by far but I can't vote for it. It was too horrible. Even a day later I'm still not completely over it. Not even close to ok with that show doing what it did. :nah

Didn't say it wasn't dark enough. I said that it seemed like it was aimed at a younger audience than me. Which it kinda seemed like it has been but not this week. Definitely, not this week.

More like it was aimed at emotionally scarring a younger audience.

It got pretty close to turning into an anime adaptation of SAW for a few minutes I mean, there is dark and then there is seeing a kid bleeding from every orifice and having her friend brake her arm while she's still conscious then about then slowly saw about halfway through it with a bowie knife. Sweet mother of god, man.

I don't know that I've seen anything darker than that in anime, honestly.

Princess Principle EP 9

Another episode that focuses on Chise is her trying to adapt to a completely different culture.

I like how it showed what they all get up to during school hours.

That was really funny watching her trying to play Cricket, interesting way of batting but it was effective.

Really happy that she made that guy surrender and grovel like that during the duel.

Looking forward to watching the next episode.

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. EP 9

I really like how Touya always casually defeats the enemies using the phone, he makes it look so easy.

All the girls got jealous a couple of times in times episode, those death stares.

Re:Creators EP 21

Very emotional episode for both Altair & Sota.

Guess that's the end of the war, Altair was pretty much invincible so I guess this was to only way to finish things.

Looking forward to the last episode to see what happens next.

Honorable Mentions

Kakegurui EP 10

That is a rather interesting way to play poker.

Jabami as brilliant as ever, losing on purpose and getting Sumeragi on her side to give her all those chips.

Next episode should be great again.

Action Heroine Cheer Fruits EP 9

Probably the best show they put on so far, even had audience participation.

They did a great job improvising as much as they could in order to delay for time.

Finally we get to see the captain in action.

Sakura Quest EP 23

Well that was quite the unexpected ending, and I thought everything was going so well up until that point.

Sakurada Reset EP 23

Kei did it! 2 & a bit years finally paid off
What happened to Soma at the end though is worrying, looking forward to watching the last episode.

Aho Girl EP 10

This show gets better each and every week.

Tenshi no 3P! EP 9

Really harsh tradition they have to follow there, feel sorry all shrine maidens.

A couple of good new songs in this episode.

Nice to see they made Kiriyume happy at the end.

Not even being a goddess could stop her from being showered.

Battle Girl High School EP 10

I had a feeling for a while now that Misaki was from somewhere else, even the man in the control room noticed that she was different early on.

I guess the rest of the hooded girls are the other Hoshimori members from that world, that had the same hair as them.

Looks like we get to know everything about them next time.

Hina Logi: From Luck & Logic EP 11

I knew Lion would be there the moment Nina was getting all happy mentioning about being alone.

I haven't had crab in a long time, I really need to try it again sometime, even if it's someone else like in this episode lol.
Yuri time.

Poor Mizuki, I saw that one coming from a mile away, her feelings are actually genuine and Yuko thinks it's because of the cake.

Only 1 episode to go.

Knight's & Magic EP 10

Now that was one good rescue.

Oh no there is another tech freak out like Ernesti, well at least he has a rival now.

The princess is in very safe hands, they were all ready for those attacks and handle them rather easily.

Next episode look very exciting, a good battle ahead, looking forward to watching it.

--> First notable combat feat from Moedred in the 10th episode, that is both great and sad at the same time.
