New contest is up: Beach Short Story. Voting has also begun for the Angels & Demon drawing contest!

There is typo. Title says "Beach Shory Story".

I think I've finished my story. However, is there a way to make "tabs" on the forums, or whatever it's called in English? Like in dialogue when you want a bunch of spaces before the quotation marks. It all looks so jumbled when I copy it onto here.

I guess the best thing is to edit it in a different place and copy the edited version back here

Yeah, that's what I did... All the extra spaces/tabs vanish when I copy it onto the boards...

Weird, I tried it before making the suggestion so it should've worked I think. Or perhaps you can switch from RTF before pasting so it preserves the format. Would like to know which method you use just in case or for anyone else who might have the same issue

I have 3 really good ideas for the Short Story Contest but I honestly can't choose

Just go for the first one you think of and write it in an hour. That's the way to go.

Actually, I had a much less melancholy, and far more macabre idea at first, but I'm trying to challenge myself with writing types of stories I'm not used to. Otherwise all my stories would include dead people humor.

Oh.... Well what about a story told from the perspective of a Blind Man? That's the idea that appeals to me the most. The other one is the landing of the Dutch in Australia.

Whatever appeals to you most will probably appeal to others most, since you'll be the one writing it. Or so I'd think. Blind man story is my vote.

Any revision/editing should've ideally been done beforehand, not like you were against the clock.

I had it Proofread by a friend beforehand but I needed to make a few adjustments after another friend raised a few points

Thanks guys, drawing was always my thing, but i neglected it, i was surprised i still got it.
@Miralicious akuma i'll look for your name when next drawing contest comes, but it'll probably be next year or something.
