How the hell will an antimagic become useless later in the series when newer spells are introduced? As long as this Manga is focused towards using magic, Asta will always be a hard man to beat not unless there are warriors here that are going to be introduced that are larger and stronger than Asta but if something like that never happen, then Asta will remain the kryptonite of all magic users.
I was talking about people with powers other than magic.
We don't know the powers of the demons for example. If Asta is indeed a demon, then there may be others like him.
If there's no magic to nullify, Asta power is useless. Remember, he's just a beefed up dude.
He can use the second sword but we don't know how it works yet.

I'm eagerly awaiting the translation of chapter 24. But from the looks of the translators site they need a proofreader to help them. I wish I could help but I don't know exactly what the job entails. I guess I might have to wait till Viz's translation comes out tomorrow.

There's some rumour that Asta is from the Spade Kingdom so maybe there's more people like him.
Just like Sasuke sharingan that are really powerfull in the beginning but became useless when the more advanced jutsus appeared.
Did we... did we read the same manga, because I do remember that the Sharingan became one of the most broken things in Naruto even in the end. If you mean the original sharingan without the whole ungodly powers like eternal black flame & space-time jutsu, then, well, yeah, but the Mangekyo Sharingan(and Rinnegan) was still one of the most broken things in Naruto and I would count it as part of the Sharingan.

There's that dude from Golden Dawn that "wants to revive his lord" for example. Maybe that statue on the top of the giant skull is his lord.
Or maybe his lord is the giant demon himself.
If it's true then it puts them as the major antagonist for now.
I've understood that the statue on the top of the demon skull WAS the wizard king who actual beat the demon originally. I dont really see, why they should resurrect him. Btw did the manga say when this happened? Did the battle happen for a long time, or was it even the wizard king we see before the one, who defeated the demon? Because then, I can see, why Asta could be a possible reincarnation of it.

But I do like the idea that someone tries to resurrect the demon, I was always a fan of dark cults doing dark magic-things.

That thing looks like the Kaballah from O-Part Hunters where someone need to collect all the Angels and Demons in order to activate it and whoever does will rule over the world.

I was refering the first sharigan, that only copies other jutsus. After a while it became pretty much useless. There's bloodline jutsus that can't be copied.
Maybe there's some magic in Black Clover that can't be nullified for example.

There's a color page on the first chapter that shows the "previous emperor" fighting the big demon. There's some text writen on it but it was not translated so I don't know what it was saying.
But there's a lot of reasons for they wanting to revive him. Maybe he was a "douchebag aristocrat" like the golden dawn themselves (diferent from the new one that seems to be a nice guy).
They may want to revive the old one, dethrone the new one, and then proceed to exterminate the lesser people (Like the Ice Dude was doing).
Maybe the demons are not that bad to begin with. Only time will tell. XD

You are Brazilian, you should read the Brazilian version. The translation is done directly from the Japanese.

Leopold is already entertaining. He can be a third wheel rival for both Asta and Yuno. My favorite part about him is his character design it reminds me of Killua. The captains squaring off Silver Eagle and Crimson Lion was a cool moment. Overall Asta owned this chapter, and I can't wait to see all these guys in action against these zombie people.

Also I wonder how strong Yami is in comparison to the other captains. I can't wait to see him in action one day.

This guy who comand zomvies looks similar to Asta in some way.Do you thing it is possible to be related to him.More importantly how strong is he to attack the castle when there are 3 captains there?!(From what I remamber each one have the power of at last 100 warlocks)

Yes, and we have to assume that he is the one who murdered the Sorcerer Emperor, who he is now controlling. However, I'm shocked the captains didn't notice anything off about the Emperor.

Wow, a lot of things happened.

I don't think that the eyepatch dude killed the emperor.
I have a feeling that it's just clay/earth clones and that it's not real zombies.
Or maybe he's indeed dead and what the golden dawn dude was saying about "reviving their lord" is that the actual emperor is dead and the one that we saw is a zombie/clone.
Things became serious now... XD

Also, Leopold have potential to be part of the "gang". Sol too.
It seems that the only douchebags are the Silver Eagles and Golden Dawn.
I don't know why but the Unicorn girl reminds me o Claymore...

Couldn't it just be that the character design of the zombie is just like the Wizard King? I mean is that actually the Wizard King? I doubt it myself, I think maybe just design look-alike. Or I'm just not paying attention enough and missed that zombie being him.

I'd like if for the four major elements Earth, Fire, Water and Wind. That there's a spirit for each of them like Slyph for Yuno. That way Leopold could get the fire one, Sol gets the earth one, and maybe Noelle gets the water one. A gang right there by itself haha.

I think it's because of the spot on the forehead.
But now that you mentioned it, It don't look like him at all.
The hair and the nose are different.
Also the clothes are more simple, like a normal peasant.
It's probably someone from the outer villages.

Asta could have a null summon like Carbuncle.
But I think it would be too FF-esque.

PS: After close inspection, the thing on the evil dude head looks like a panty. :XD

I'm probably the only one in the whole world who is confused by this, but I dont like the representation of power of Leon Vermillion & Solid Silver-
Solid Silver is the bird & Leon is a tiger in the end of the chapter? Shouldnt be this reversed because vermillion is the color of the phoenix in the chinese mythology & the tiger makes much more sense for Solid because the white tiger(white like the hair color) is close to the (sorcery) emperor and known as a king among beasts. Also, metal(Silver) is the element of the tiger & fire is the element of the vermillion bird/phoenix.
I know, I know that is extremely nitpicky, but I've researched the chinese mythology in my free time, so this bothers me a lot. And very likely, that I'm the only one, but still <.<

At least Aster got to show his worth before the attack. I wish we had gotten the opportunity to see more of the other Knights, they seem a lot more interesting. Things do seem to move quickly, I wonder who this guy is.... I don't expect this to last long though.

Solid commented that he saw the skies as his road, so the bird aura seems to fit right into that. And the other guy's aura probably isn't a tiger... his name is Leon, so it's more likely to be a lion. The manifestations of their mana are probably personal rather than a representation of their specific families.

first time on this post and i do like this manga espeically Aster's and his friends crazy funny faces of WTF is going on

wait the the emperor died he looks to badass to die? i thought that zombie was a simple peasant from nowhere

I think this new dark sorcerer is going to reveal a few new things about Aster for one Aster might actually be able to combine these two swords together he's definitely getting armour as well

Also do these magic books only have one spell or several spells so isn't it possible aster already has several different weapons concealed inside it waiting to be unleashed??

Also I think Aster is a king demon and might be the antagonist of the series essentially he is the devil incarnate and that power will be used for good if that is even possible. It's possible that demons to counter mages actually used heavently or demonic objects and these swords actually house demon spirits ?

Now i wonder where that bird aster has came from it seems to be a weird weird bird for one it found aster's sword and also gets pissed off when the rich brats were insulting Noelle it seems to behave more human like as if it's hiding its true form??

The other question is also where did Aster even get that book from it seemed to be hidden in that demon skull in chapter 1 and came from there???

but it is gettin to be a cool manga

didn't know a thread existed we should separate the chapters out from now on
