yes but now its a asta and noelle vs vetto fight and im sure asta and noelle will win together. noelles' got the mana and power and asta can neturalize him at close range and maybe something might happen to their grimiores.

already noelle's magic was connected to their water god so i wouldn't be surprised if the temple has a powerup waiting for noelle to help them win the battle. I feel this temple not only has the jewel but will house a powerup for noelle and possibly asta too

Yes! Finral and Vanessa finally in action, and their magic is definitely best suited for support. I liked that Asta Noelle moment also.

That strategy of teleporting and maneuvering Asta to take on Vet was awesome. That final shot on him must of felt great for Asta. It's fights like this one against Vet that has me wanting a Black Clover anime.

I see the biggest problem is the fact that his swords don't cut. If they were in the right state, this monstor villain would have fell with his attack in the last page

This chapter was HYPE!! Let's go Black Bulls!!! I am really amazed at how everyone has become so influenced by Asta in the short time he has been with them.

Yes this chapter was hype indeed, only makes me want to see this fight animated more haha.

Vanessa's backstory remains somewhat of a mystery, but I'm really interested in this whole thread of destiny thing of hers. I really love how she covered the entire battlefield in thread and how well the teamwork is between her Finral and Asta.

Speaking of Finral I like his backstory a lot as well, it makes sense he'd wanna escape the reality that his younger brother is more talented and favored by his family. Being a coward because he fears he's weak and can't compare to his brother, but Asta inspiring him and Vanessa cause he plans to achieve his dream despite all odds.

Then back to the action itself I love how teamwork between 3 people who can't possibly beat Vetto on their own, is capable of contending with him. The speed, concentration, and trust that Asta, Finral, and Vanessa are showcasing is amazing. It all leads to that big strike at the end of the chapter, whether or not it defeats him is another story. I do feel the that fact that they'vs wounded him this much is an achievement, and I would still expect him to not go down yet.

well if vetto is not down for the count then i don't know what will put him down at that point asta better pull a set of gauntlets and punch and maul him down.

other then that this chapter was perfectly setup why these characters never worked together before asta is surprising to me because in theory they should be able to do so.

it's also funny how yami actually found very intelligent and battle hungry berserkers for his team i mean in reality all these mages are monsters especially when they work together its sad how there families couldn't see their potential and feats.

Maybe noelle will give the final blow this time again too

I thought this chapter was pretty good. I really like learning about other characters backgrounds and Finral was one of the ones I wanted to know. It's rather interesting that he's at the very bottom, while his younger brother is up the top - I look forward to him being introduced at one point. (People are already suspicious of Rangils)

This wound won't be able to heal - I can see Vetto either going beserk, retreating or being taken down; there's no other option really. I still feel that Yami needs to intervene in this fight and there is the mage keeping them at bay, as well as Gauche, Charmy and Grey.

Considering the history this series has of short arcs - usually lasting 10-15 chapters - this one has been going on for 13, so at most, maybe 10 chapters left; I think this one will go past 20 (if we're lucky) or at least near that mark.

Also... where's the Yami commentary?? T.T

so what is asta's grimiore did it just talk to vetto and break his entire concentration and is that image an illusion or a real image created by asta's grimiore in vetto's head it seems that people who see that demon regret seeing it

I think the most exciting part of the chapter was the last 2 pages - I wonder, what do you guys think the deal with Asta's eyes are - maybe the influence of his grimoire's 'demon'?? (Or whatever we could call the thing, but it looks awesome)

I liked the CP, I've been loving the duo pattern going on here with the 3 CP's we've had for this arc. (Luck/Magna, Kiato/Kahono and Finral/Vanessa) There is another one next week and I wonder who will be on it...

Also, the Light Novel rumor has been confirmed - you can see the cover of both volume 7 and the LN on the CP. I really hope someone is nice enough to at least let us know what it's about, it has something to do with Black Bull though; maybe just a side story, but I would still be interested in reading it some day.

I just thought about this - now I am annoyed; Jack didn't show up. I mean, he lost so many members and nothing?? Maybe he didn't know about the mission or couldn't get down there but... that really just annoys me.

When I saw that five leaf clover I knew something big was about to happen. Seeing the demon again was pretty cool. I can't help but wonder if Asta will get a power up soon. I can't believe they were able to seemingly beat him without Yami's help. I was convinced that he would get involved at some point. However, I applaud the author for making him take a backseat and allowing the Black Bulls to show off their impressive teamwork. This chapter was excellent.

I don't think it would be his parents, maybe ancestor or something - but I think the 1st SE and this incident happened quite some time ago; most likely well over 100 years ago. How it's spoken about is like a tale; so the way it's told to Noelle and other children of the Clover Kingdom is probably twisted in a way that it seems like the demon worshipers are bad; but who knows when we will get the full story.

But I bet that village of worshipers is somehow linked to the one that was massacred, maybe somewhere around 10 years before the story started, minimum 6 years because that's when WNE was created.

Also if you look - the 1st SE is holding a sword in the picture there, maybe he had anti-magic too. It does kind of look like Asta's second sword, but we'll have to wait before coming up with any theories; considering him having a 4-leaf clover is carved in stone (quite literally) for now.

I really loved this chapter. Vet is a truly dominating villain who just loves crushing hopes and dreams, just demonstrates his arrogance and how much he loves doing it. But Asta typical main character who doesn't give up really won't let the situation faze him. I do like the never give up confidence when its used properly, and the fact that he's inspiring the other members in the Black Bulls to not give up either is great. It's led to Magna and Luck working together combo moves and all, Noelle thanks to Kahono and everyone else not being afraid to unleash her power, Gauche using teamwork with Gray and Charmy, but also a drunk and a coward like Vanessa and Finral stepping up to create a strategy to overcome a very powerful enemy

I like how the reason Vet lost the ability to keep up was because of the Demon Dwelling Sword draining his mana, and not because suddenly a fatigued Vanessa and Finral could move faster than he could sense. I did notice the demonic looking eyes Asta had during that final attack, but I think most of the demon references have been too vague so far to guess what he is or what it all means. I do hope for more explanation on Asta's grimoire, the Third Eye's demon magic, and the demon worshiping clan soon.

Looking forward to next weeks color page too, I really liked this weeks and all the ones we've had this arc like Eiryuu mentioned, all of them featuring duos. I wonder if that theme will continue with the next color page being the climax of the arc.

maybe the magic is now messed up and now combined ie the first SE if had a sword is now in the possision and combined with demon magic. maybe magic is a demon origin thing but people have forgot about it

Thanks for doing what you can to share what you find. I like that color page, really would've liked if he had those demon looking eyes in it but its still pretty impactful.
