This is acc kinda difficult:

Ima go with Bluenote in round 1

Silver in round 2

however, I'm open to arguments that prove me wrong

By logic, Bluenote from Avatar arc should be stronger than during Tenrou. There is no reason for him to be weaker over the years.

He kinda lost some light with me after getting fodderized by a regular DS Roar

There should be no difference between Tenrou Bluenote and Avatar arc Bluenote. Bluenote is Jura level, which is around the Laxus/Jellal ballpark. Silver is probably also around this level.

I don't really know who wins this, it could go either way imo, but it should be high difficulty either way.

I think it all comes down to who has the better magic.

Silver.

We know Tenrou Natsu almost lost to GMG Max. So Tenrou Natsu = GMG Max. So GMG Natsu alone imo should give a good fight to Bluenote. Furthermore , Jura was said to be equal to the crippled Gildarts from Tenrou , and Tenrou Gildarts oneshotted Bluenote once he used his magic ( after the Tenrou tree was restored ). Jura was Tartaros Laxus' equal , and I feel Silver is slightly above Laxus considering how he oneshotted Natsu at Tartaros. ( or atleast equal to him , because we know Silver is about ×2 stronger than Tempester via the official stats )

So yeah Silver oneshots Bluenote. Even Jackal and Tempester would give him a good fight.

Bluenote mid diffs. I don't see Silver even close to Tenrou Gildart's level.

Silver wins. Bluenote only lasted so long againat Gild bcs of the magic drain. He got up and completely crushed Bluenote and his strongest spell as soon as he got his mp back.

Bluenote and Gildarts had several exchanges before the Tenrou Tree's drain, and it's not as if Bluenote took the opportunity to hit Gildarts with his best attacks (he really just kicked him). They still had exchanges like these:

Doing being able to trade punches with Gildarts like this is no less impressive than beating Tartaros arc Natsu, especially considering Gildarts was pissed off when facing Bluenote. Bluenote didn't just beat Tenrou Natsu. He stomped Tenrou Natsu, along with Lucy and Cana with Fairy Glitter. He would still beat GMG or Tartaros Arc Natsu badly. It is highly unlikely this is a stomp.

I'm honestly leaning towards Bluenote. It's hard to properly gauge Silver's power, but he should be around Kyoka/x791 Erza ballpark. Bluenote is on par with Tenrou Gildarts, who was compared to Jura level opponents.
This make me believe that Bluenote wins handily, at least mid diff, maybe even low diff.

Gildarts still craps all over Tartaros Natsu, he's even still far enough beyond him that after a display of power he makes Tartaros Natsu crap his pants and give up the fight. Tartaros Natsu imo would have a decent enough chance at beating Silver.

SO was a good boost, but I don't think it was that good. Sure it bumped Natsu cleanly above Max again, but with it he probably wasn't as far above Max as he was 7 years ago, Max is simply a minor character so he gets no shine. Erza for example was still top tier throughout GMG even without SO, Bluenote would similarly still be at a level that craps all over most characters. Like Jura, i'd say Bluenote is at a level where it would take Erza and Mirajane together to beat him, which imo is a level above Silver.

So what ? Jura was on Tenrou Gildarts level , as well as GMG/ Tartaros Laxus. Natsu also isn't getting oneshotted casually by them , but would lose low diff . I don't see why GMG Natsu can't stand up to Bluenote. Natsu against Laxus is the same situation as Bluenote against Gildarts. And Silver would stomp Tartaros Natsu.

Natsu didn't suddenly go from being beaten badly by Bluenote to oneshotting him. The thing is Tartaros/GMG Natsu was already on Bluenote's level.

No Tartaros Natsu doesn't have a decent chance of beating Silver. Natsu had a high diff battle with Jackal and Tempester , and Silver is more than twice stronger than them individually in every stat. Bluenote isn't on Jura's level , once Gildarts used his serious attack and not just random punches he got oneshotted. That is similar to Natsu vs Laxus if it were to happen. Silver is more on Tartaros Laxus' level , which makes him Tenrou Gildarts level. There's a reason Silver wasn't truly defeated. Bluenote is more like GMG Natsu level ; Laxus , Jura , Silver and Tenrou Gildarts are a league above him.

Sure he does, Silver was beaten by Gray, and Natsus performance against Mard was pretty good
Yes he is, Bluenote portrayal and performance impressed me about as much as Makarov comment.
Nah, Laxus is a cut above Silver imo. Laxus slaughtered Tempester easily, Silver hasn’t shown me anything that implies he’s on that level.

Except Gray was let off by Silver many , many times , and was holding back because he was his father. Natsu's performance against Mard was good ? He didn't have a single scratch on his body until Gray arrived with DeS. He even shrugged off DF Natsu's secret art. The only spells which hurt Mard were Gray's DeS spells. Natsu was struggling against Jackal and Tempester , whereas Silver is more than twice strong as them.

Silver is more than twice stronger than Tempester , which means he can body him even if he didn't have advantage of DeS. More than twice strong in every stat is a condition for a stomp/low diff.

Silver can slaughter Tempester tier opponents just as easily as Laxus. Silver oneshotted Tartaros Natsu. And was holding back for the entire duration of his fight with Gray. Not to mention he froze the entire Sun Village in one attack , Gray himself admitted that the mage would have to be extremely powerful.

You've got nothing to prove Bluenote is Jura level when Tenrou Gildarts low diffed him.

Bluenote is GMG/Tartaros Natsu level , and Silver is Tartaros Laxus/Tenrou Gildarts level. The difference is obvious.

Gray is rufus tier so basically fodder tier and Gray defeated Silver, but then again Silver one-shotted Natsu without any effort yeah maybe with slayer advantage who knows?

so if Silver really is rufus tier rufus himself is clearly weaker than anyt tartaros member then bluenote one-shots..

He was also immune to ice lol. Gray beat Silver fair and square.
Yeah, good. He wasn't going to win, but he didn't get destroyed. Better than I see someone like Tempester doing, or even Kyoka. Natsu was doing pretty damn well against Tempester as I recall.

Silver isnt more than twice as strong as Tempester in every stat. Tempester's HP, Defense and Speed are all fairly close to Silver's, which is why he could endure Natsu's attacks so well. At best you could say that Silver would do a lot more damage to Natsu than Tempester did, which doesn't really matter since Tempester's offense couldn't put Natsu down, not surprising considering Natsu was tanking shit from Mard Geer, who hits harder than Silver and Tempester combined.

No he cant. Silver caught Natsu off guard, surprise attacks work %90 of the time. No one in Tartaros was strong enough to oneshot Natsu, including Mard Geer. Why does Gray saying he's powerful matter? Gray thought Sting was powerful.

No, you have nothing to prove SIlver is Jura level. Bluenote's performance, clashing with a pissed off Gildarts, means as much or more than a comment Makarov made based on Jura's strongest attack.

Nah, Bluenote did significantly better against Gildarts than Tartaros Natsu. Tartaros Natsu still thinks its a biig deal just to push Gildarts back. Comparing Bluenote to Tartaros Natsu is ridiculous.

How did Gray beat Silver fair and square when Silver let off Gray many times and allowed him to stand again ? If you're fighting with me , and you're down and I have the opportunity to hit you , I will. If I don't that means I'm not fighting seriously. Silver was Gray's counter sure , but I'm pointing out that you can't say Silver didn't go easy on Gray. It may be an unfair fight for Gray , but Silver DID go easy on him.

Again , remember Natsu had an extreme difficulty battle against Jackal. So we know how he will fare if he and some other demon were to battle till death. Natsu defeated Jackal extreme difficulty. We know Mard was toying with Natsu first before Gray arrived. He started fighting seriously when he went into his etherious form. And again , as I said , we don't know how long will Natsu last unless we do a battle till death. Silver is stronger than Jackal.

Even if you want to apply another logic , then well. Silver's attack and defense and health are even higher than Kyouka , who was dominating Erza throughout their fight. Erza needed PIS powerup to compete with her , Kyouka was destroying Erza otherwise. And during that time , Erza was stronger than Natsu. So it makes sense Silver can defeat Natsu too.

Silver is Jura level because he is slightly above Kyouka , who was destroying Erza without PiS. I consider that Laxus level.

Simply clashing fists two times with Gildarts doesn't make Bluenote Gildarts/Jura level. We know Gildarts still hadn't used his serious attack , because that was the attack which oneshotted Bluenote in the end. Makarov saw Jura's strongest attack , and realised that compares to Gildarts' strongest attack. The attack which Gildarts used at the end might be his strongest or might not be ( imo it wasn't ), but we know that if Jura uses his strongest attack against Bluenote it will put him out of commission. The precise fact that Gildarts oneshotted Bluenote means Bluenote can't withstand Gildarts' stronger attacks. And I see Laxus and Natsu in a similar predicament. Natsu might be able to fight with Laxus normally , but if he uses his stronger attacks , Natsu will lose. So Bluenote = GMG/ Tartaros Natsu.

Natsu confronted Gildarts sometime before the Alvarez arc , because he wanted to see how strong he had become after his training. Gildarts was also fully healed from his injuried from Acnologia by then. So no , that's Alvarez Gildarts.

Comparing Tartaros Natsu to Bluenote is perfectly fine because you don't understand the power creep between the 7 years. And you guys unnecessarily inflate the 1 year timeskip and forget about the 7 year timeskip. If I'm to trust your word , then according to calculations , Natsu should've become more than 12 times stronger than at Tartaros. And I don't buy it , considering Jellal's progress. The guy pretty much kept up with FT during the power creep . And remember , he had 4 years to train during the 1st timeskip as compared to only 1 year to train during the second timeskip. Although we know Jellal's weaker than Laxus , he's still in the ballpark of Natsu , non PiS Erza , etc. So the progress of Natsu and Erza should be in the same proportion as Jellal. And somehow , you're saying the progress Jellal made in one year dwarfs the progress made by him in four years by more than three times. I don't buy it.
