My guess for the Cover?Claymore volume 26 will be released in June. I'm guessing that Teresa won't be on the cover since it would be spoilerish so that leaves Priscilla, Clare and Raki (although Teresa is still possible). I'm more eager to see undercovers though, in the second one (which is on one of the last pages) we might see Teresa.
I think it's pretty obvious from the tone of everything that it's ending very soon. My impression, however, is that this is the nice, normal kind of end which happens when a story has said what it has to say and it's nothing to get upset about. All good things come to an end, Claymore is no exception to this rule.Guys, could you please tell me whether it is just a rumor that Claymore will end or is there a confirmation about this from the author's part?
I'm confused o_O If it's typically sold on the 4th, then why do we get chapters between the 26th and the 1st? Does it take the Manga Editors a month to make it publication ready? If so, fair enough not complaining, but then why aren't there a lot more spoilers?JUMP SQ is typically sold on the 4th. But the next issue will be sold on the 2nd of May.
Meanwhile illegal way of getting it makes you have it way before the rest.. Internet ethics: it's not wrong if there's no other way to get them and you buy the volumes laterMeanwhile illegal way of getting it makes you have it way before the rest.. This is what it meant..

Manga Editor a month to what? You mean the next chapter we should get next is actually from 30 days ago?I'm confused o_O If it's typically sold on the 4th, then why do we get chapters between the 26th and the 1st? Exactly, which is obviously not happening hence the mild confusion.Manga Editor a month to what? You mean the next chapter we should get next is actually from 30 days ago?![]()
Extremely convenient stores, I am grateful to them ^_^ That interpretation makes perfect sense and chances are Shueisha doesn't actually give a damn about early releases as long as they get sales. As you may know the manga magazines (just like any other books and magazines) are transported all over the country prior to the release dates, and there are convenient stores that put them up for sale before that date (thereby going against their contract, I presume lol.)
Quite honestly, it doesn't seem like Priscilla is the claymores' greatest threat. It's those who were experimenting with humans and Dragon's kin, & if they are not destroyed they will just repeat the same thing on the same land or elsewhere. They could also make a comeback to erase every trace of their previous experiment that might in the future pose a threat to them. Even if Priscilla is defeated, if the "creators" of this whole mess weren't destroyed, the story would end in a unsatisfactory manner.I think it's pretty obvious from the tone of everything that it's ending very soon. Incidentally, does anyone know the Jump SQ release date?
I don't think Yagi needs to resolve those questions. Claymore has always struck me as more focussed on people than geopolitics so I wouldn't be too bothered if he doesn't go there. Yes, this story takes place in a larger world, a world full of darker, more complex threats than any Our Heroes have faced thus far, but they've never been anything more than background detail. Ending the story at a place where Clare has beaten Priscilla and found a new reason to live and Miria has found peace through her overthrow of the Org ties up all the major threads of Claymore the manga. The story doesn't need to look at the bigger picture to be complete.Quite honestly, it doesn't seem like Priscilla is the claymores' greatest threat. Just click on the link in my signature and spend five minutes thinking about Something Else ^_^
Thanks to my contest (which you should totally go vote in if you haven't already
). I find it difficult to think of anything that's not Claymore and/or Adobe Photoshop related so I've thrown together some gag strips to celebrate ^_^
