Does anyone know why the 10th Manga (viz) is resceduled on december? At least that's what amazon says.
But on the viz-hp it still says oct, which one should I believe? help! lol
And why the hell is the 11th tank sceduled for march '08 (!)?
Damn viz seems to be very slow, for example D.Gray-man: they're at tank 5, here in Germany we're at tank 9 (tokyopop).
I just hope that Claymore will be released here in Germany too, cause than I wouldn't have to wait so long for the releases...

That's not slow that slow... o_O

Think, it takes half a year to produce a tankouban of Claymore in japan (roughly), so even if there's four or so months in between, it means they're catching up to the japanese releases~

And they can't release ahead of japan, now can they, there's not a lot of volumes left for them to translate? xD

And I suggest trusting the Viz site for now, they produce it, they probably know better, amazon often shows inaccuracies in release dates~ But then again... usually the worst option is the closest to truth... and they just forgot to update the site? Argh! o_O

As for the general 'why are english releases so slow?!' question: manga is simply more popular in France and Germany than it is in the english speaking world, by far~ I don't like it either, having to wait for my english volumes so long, (since my german isn't that good and my french just plain bad) but there's no other option, heh...

(And D.Gray-Man v6 has been out for a while now, btw ^^)

Yeah, sure they're catching up, but they really could do that a bit faster, for excample like Berserk here in Germany, it's at tank 31, they'll release the 32nd tank a little while after the jap. is out, would be nice, if viz did the same thing, but nevermind, cause there're the scans lol

The fourth (and maybe final?) Extra Scene has come out as a raw, which is very cool.
Having had a quick skim through it (I can't read japanese, so its just from the pictures), it looks pretty good to me, but I wont discuss it here, as I cant work out how to do spoiler tags! Anyways, its on the RAW bar in the top left if you're interested.

Some girls just like the st00pid, big, strong type that they can dominate and that'll do everything for them. ^^

But let's at least stay slightly manga-related... Only ten days left or so until scene 74! How about some predictions, people? Let's see, where did we leave off half a year ago...

Oh right, Clarice and Miata were about to go visit Galatea... I predict they'll be able to defeat her, as a story-enhancer to make Miata appear even stronger than she is. Perhaps we'll have Clare-tachi save her last minute or so to settle her debt (from when Galatea let Clare and Jeane go unharmed)?

It would be fun to have the seven outcasts and Clarice "meeting" again though... Even though she didn't exactly see them back in the north...

well, if it is her over that wall, and if she IS weaker than Miata, then I'm hoping - as you've said - that Clare and the other outcasts will come to her aid ^^ how their paths will cross i have no idea. But anything is better than her being defeated by this.. crazy.. .. child.. and her.. close to useless babysitter..

Y'know, Miata reminds me of Priscilla somehow.. a very strong Claymore who is unaware of the world around her other then the only thing she cares for:

Priscilla: cares a lot for her long gone family members whom she most definitely have to blame it on.. um.. anyone that makes her feel powerless aka anyone stronger than her. sigh.. *thinks back to her horrible debut in the anime..*

Miata: Clarice - will do anything she says and go all out to protect her for a small price ie. being her milk supplier indefinitely :P

Cant wait for c74! ^^

I agree with u it would be pretty stuped to keep Galatea alive for all this years just to be deafed, wouldnt have a meaning on this since we already know Miata is freaking strong.I can see only 3 outcomes if the Claymore they found is really Galatea, 1-Galatea kills/harms Claris, Miata goes berseker mode awakens and kill Galatea (this would have a point since Galatea got Miata to awaken). 2-Galatea wins and run away or 3-Galatea is losing but Clare and the others come to save her ass.And about Priscila and Miata looking similar they dont only look they are the same, uber strong claymores that has a meantal disorder funny how the 2 most powerefull claymores had to have such a fucked up mind.Im kind hoping to see raki soon wanna see if he got any strong.

They are the same till around episode 22 after that anime is totally different from manga.Anime end sucked i think manga is alot better u should try it out, the only negative point is that they relize only 1 chapter per month.

only one chapter, yes, but when it comes its like 30+ pages. So you could say its one chapter every second week.
Besides, the art is very good atleast in the later chapters, very high quality and all, so it explains it.

Alright, as aozora said, it's about time for the first issue of Jump SQ to surface, the problem is though...

Unlike Weekly Shounen Jump, we don't have anyone on this site that scans it for us (that I know of), so we'll be forced to hunt for raws ourselves~ Keep an eye on share and winny and whatever source it might be that you normally grab your stuff from. ^___^

(Actually I'm just trying to say that there might be a delay in the release of the raw, on this site at least, but who knows?)



Now, if I'm right, the official date for Jump SQ issue #1 would be november 2nd, two days from now, am I right? Which means the raw could pop up any time when least expected?
