RAY OF LIGHT -instrumental- : Nakagawa Shoko (sorta)

I prefer the instrumental version, Shokotan's vocals isn't strong enough for this type of song. She's not a bad singer, she just isn't a particularly good singer. I do feel her singing is strong enough for an idol, I've heard her in person, it's on par with her recorded version. But her vocals lies too much in the 'that girl who sang well during the school talent show', also a little too paint by number. Her lows felt quite strained, I guess she's more suitable for cuter songs. I've heard many covers of Sorairo Days, alot of them were better then the original ,especially Masaki Endou and HIMEKA versions.

I love the arrangement for the song, it's quite typical as far as I know, but it sounds nice to the ear.

Semi-off topicness

Eighth album release from Nana Mizuki including "Mugen," "PHANTOM MINDS," "Silent Bible," and a cover version of "Koi no Yokushiryoku," a character song of the game "METAL GEAR SOLID PEACE WALKER."

This album screams must buy...I ended up liking only two out of the four songs on each singles. Since Nana's album tend to have 15 songs, I expect 11 new songs maybe? I would like to know what's included on the DVD. This album is cheaper then Ultimate Diamond, possibly a not-as-good special?

Love Psychedelico is also a band worth looking into... Really chilled out stuff, some english, some jap, but really, really easy to listen to.
