Syndey, aorin and sparivero-92 had posted a summary of the third novel:

It has been retitled as D.Gray-man Reverse 3: Lost Fragment of Snow. Price: 680 Yen. Release date remains the same. Also, I'm guessing that the previous title 'The Child Who Doesn't Smile and The Clown Who Can't Cry' is the title for the first story while 'Rohfa's Days of Unrequited Love' is the second story, hopefully there'll be info about a third story soon. :'D

So, this novel has 3 parts? I dont think i understood this...

(Cool! Volume 20 was already published in Spain and 21 is coming now in Japan!! xD)

The last two reverse novels have three chapters so I'm assuming that this one will as well. The last one is usually about Komui and/or Bak.

OK, now i see, (it seems i've been working too much lately...)

There are three novels: two of them from 2005 and 2006 and this new one entitled: Lost Fragment of Snow. The other titles mentioned in the previous posts here are probably names of the chapters/stories inside the novel. Correct me if i'm wrong, please

Says wiki the author of the first two novel was Kaya Kizaki, but amazon only mentions Hoshino Katsura and the "Tues Kinosaki Department", does this means she wrote the story too? (i guess no)

NOTE: After the publication of the second novel, three months later the anime started and included the story in some episodes...

Well, Kaya Kizaki is the main author but iirc Hoshino provided information and illustrations for the novels.

It looks like the Volume 1 cover with Allen and the Earl. Hoshino definitely did that on purpose.

I think someone on 2ch read the novel already and posted a summary about Allen and Mana's chapter. Some other 2chers are confirming it.

マジで情報量多すぎてうまくまとめられないんだが
・アレンは記憶喪失の状態でサーカスに見世物として売られた
・マナが伯爵似であることはほぼ確定（目元から下のカット有）
・しかしマナと伯爵は別人（同時に同じ場所に存在するシーン有）
・マナも恐らくノア（瞳が金色）
・マナは自称17歳
・アレンはマナを殺す以前にクロスやティムと出会ってた
・「アレン」の名前はやはり14番目関係
・裏表紙のクロスだせえ

カッコつきの部分はおれの主観で、
カッコの中の表記のみが本文で語られてるだけです。
小説読み直したけどマナの瞳の色が後で変わったっていう表現は
とりあえず見当たらなかった

だがアレンがイノセンスでマナの頭を殴りまくったときに
マナの頭（傷口？）から「光のカケラが血とともに舞った」っていう表現がある

-Mana and the Earl look almost identical (we see them from their eyes under, we can see only their body)
-but Mana and the Earl are not the same person (ther's a scene where thay are in the same place at the same time)
-Mana is probably a noah (his eyes are golden)
-Mana says he's 17 years old (what? <-not sure)
-Allen killed Akuma!Mana before meeting Cross and Timcanpy for the first time
-The name 'Allen' has actually something to do with the 14th (not sure)
-on the back cover there's Cross

A lot of that isn't fact though, it's just the writer's speculation.

The name "Allen" being related to the 14th isn't a new concept either, but it's nice to see it confirmed. At first I thought the 14th's name was Allen, but that was recently disproved.

But yay, Cross in Hoshino's new art style! I wonder what he'll look like with a chubby face?

^I think the novels are more of a sidestory. IIRC, Lavi's chapter just happened before he first met Allen. At the end of his chapter, Bookman told him that they were going to meet an interesting exorcist named Allen.
