I wonder how long we going to have to wait until they re-animate Super with manga content, the Zamasu arc in manga is really epic unlike the anime where only the beginning and end was good, reading this is making me remember all those "All hail Zamasu comments" of old :spaz

I like this development with SSB, unlike the anime which cheapened that form too much but then again I get the feeling that Zamasu was much more stronger in the anime

Also, I have the feeling Goku will get a new transformation...

Not really a fan of this. In the end, SSB's complete mastery has just been delayed here, and it's still risky apparently(what's with that internal energy which could tear his body apart at any moment BS?). With this Goku is on par with fused Zamasu.

Trunks conveniently realizes he has healing powers, and now someone's power level matters when it comes to healing. If Vegeta says SSB can be perfectly mastered, why didn't he try to do this in the first place? Reusing SSG was never a good idea. If the anime neglects some important details, in the manga they try to rationalize things too much, so much that it ends up raising other questions and/or not making sense at all.

Yea I'm not 100% sure where I stand on this either. I like how the anime made kao-ken relevant again but I'm pretty sure the manga has skipped that so far right? Instead this 100% SSB seems to have the same side effect. I'm hoping maybe from here the manga will improve upon the perfected SSB by having him use Kao-ken on top of that. Also I'm glad Zamasu hasn't turned into 1/2 purple puddy monster... that really annoyed me about the anime. I suppose it still remains to be seen.

I personally prefer the manga over the anime because it is more strategic. I like this development with ssj blue, too. To me the anime is only clickbait and fanservice all the time. The execution of super is worse than GT and Toei recycles the same ideas mostly.
Trunks' healing abilities are convenient but it is still less of an asspull than in super. The transformation of him was never really explained and it makes no sense because ssj is already a power up through anger. Also the Genkidama-sword with the power of all left humans on earth in Trunks timeline can end an opponent who is so much stronger than Kid Buu? Wtf!
But I wonder how our heroes will win in the manga because even if Merged Zamasu splits, Zamasu can heal Goku Black while Trunks and co are pretty exhausted at the moment.

Nothing was wrong with the chapter, it makes sense why SSB Goku can match Fused SSR Zamasu. That blue aura was absorbed into his body to give him SSB @ 100%. Pretty easy to follow. It was fine for me, Vegeta was pretty dope in this one, admitting to Goku's advantage on his SSB

I think this already has been said, but we should take manga and anime as separete entities at this point.

I dislike the healing powers of trunks way more than the SS Rage transformation, because at least the latter has some background (ie rage power up), and was a cool moment for humanity (even if it makes no goddanm sense, power level wise). Also, Black is way more of a enemy to Trunks than to Goku and Vegeta, if Goku does end up winning against a enemy that gave Vegito Trouble, I will call BS

I don´t think them going for a more energy conserving alternative (SSG-SSB) against a regenrating enemy instead of a Burst high energy burning high risk (SSB 100%) is a plot hole

I would Say the manga would be superior simply for the fact that it doesn't have filler arcs, where the Power Scailing is almost non existent at this point because it's not sort out...

Hit came back even stronger with a New ability?!
17 is what SS3 Lv or possibly higher WTH?!
Master Roshi got stronger....ok but his PL was low 3 digits. At his Age how does he surpass 10k, 50k or 100k...Which ROF arc the henchmen had to be around 5k or so..only Freiza special minions were strong.

The manga is much more consistent. Trunks conveinent apprenticeship & healing isn't that bad, it even has a loose but slick foreshadowing. Vegeta maintaining maturity in letting the better fighter get healed to Win the fight. & Merged Zamasu isn't that strong as portrayed in the anime...I had a big problem with that because Zamasu shouldn't have put up that much of a resistant against SSB Vegito which was is a stronger fusion i.e. 2SSB Fusing...

Only thing the manga lacked was Zamasu having better moves..Aside from his Portal Punch. A longer Fight with Vegitto actually beating the crap out of Zamasu for longer. & Goku's 100%Focused SSB makes a lot of sense cleaning up the Vegeta lost to hit being at 1/10...& Even in the manga Vegta & Goku put up a fight against Merged Zamasu, which gives more reason for a straight up Vegito whoop ass.

And with this latest chapter, we see that the manga has its own set of flaws. Goku, through some means yet to be explained can just copy the abilities of a God of destruction.

Vegeta's new move seems to be primarily just rage and destruction based, only ends up making the problem of Zamasu worse. Is this the manga authors way of replicating what happened in the anime or something? What's stopping Zamasu from deciding to just cut his clones into many more pieces thereby making more clones and so on and so forth? The more stuff is explained, the more questions come up.

Yeah when did Goku learn Beerus' Destruction? When they were fighting? Training? Trunks' healing I had no problem with but this seemed more like an asspull. However chapter was pretty good, Zamasu way too op though. Guess they'll either retreat or some type of fusion-Potara earring nerf coming

Gokue learned most of his moves just by seeing someone else use them. I imagine this was no different.

One of the rare times I was enjoying the choreography in this and that Hakai from Goku ruined everything... :epicfacepalm Trunks hits Zamasu once with his sword and they praise him as if he was some kind of amazing hero, that was very underwhelming. Vegeta, the king of (bad) exposition finally did something at the end with that new technique. Cool one but still a another Ki blast variant. And what's with that cellular BS when one of the Zamasu has Goku's body? Even without Goku's body it would still be BS.

Good chapter but I am very annoyed by the fact that Goku can use Hakai and the exposition in general.

I think this is a little different. There should be something special about the gods of destruction using an ability like this. I get Goku and Vegeta have God ki, but there should be some level of separation that is required for a technique like this. Everything beforehand, everyone was on the same playing field. That's not the case here, or it shouldn't be.

Nah I took it as him manipulating his god ki into hakai... saying as all you need is the ability to possess god ki to become a candidate for the god of destruction why woudnt hakai be a learned technique of the gods?

In the last anime episode Sidra transfers a part of his energy of destruction to slow down Goku and Frieza. Hakai is not just God Ki, it's a different kind of energy. Kais don't have that, they have healing powers instead. Which is something they used in the manga and gave to Trunks. And it's not like Goku has been able to copy everything. It's just that he has no techniques he created himself.

Yea at this point you have to separate the manga from the anime. There are a ton of things WAY different, this is the latest one. I like a lot of choices in the manga. I don't mind this one too much, an explanation would be nice though.
