Why are you so sure that it was rushed. Did Mashima or any of his editors state that he had to end it as quickly as possible, or that he had to wrap every plotline during the arc so that he could finish the series and do his next work? Maybe they did and i just dont know it (if they did than what i am writting right now is just nonesense based on my take with the final arc). But as far as i know they didnt say anything of sorts. But like i said Mashima did say that he didnt plan the ending at all, which resulted in really bad structure, and which also makes it look like it was rushed. You could clearly see the battle formula for each villain in the final arc. It was always the same. Imo he could have done everything so much more better with just better planning. So i wouldnt say rushness was the problem and thats why FT final arc if differently bad compared to some other series endings. It has diffrent issues.
You said that he plans better short-term, and then even the editors said to him that he needs to limit the number of villains which would probably result in a shorter arc (not sure if the arc would be smaller, but it would definitely be more focused). So why then, why did Mashima demand more? He himself went for a longer arc despite you saying that he is apperently better in short-term, and he himself didnt know how to handle the ending. Was he rushed into writting more than 100 chapters? Doenst it sound funny. Other series final arcs were long as well, but they had their own issues, some similar but other different. Its hard for me to blame Mashima cuz i loved RM and i loved Fairy Tail before timeskip, but in the end the blame is well deserved as much as it pains me, he himself dug this hole of madness.
I didnt see any outside forces, other than crazy shippers, and even they didnt get what they wanted. Situation with RM? This you need to elaborate more cuz i didnt understood the sentence completely, and i dont want to misunderstand you.
Hm, Fantasia arc? You mean Battle of FT Arc with Laxus? If yes than thats the first i heave heard of, but its pretty interesting information, i will have to research more about it.
As for the Bleach final arc, i guess its all about preference. I can clearly see that you love FT, so saying FT final arc was better is pretty understadable from a big fans perspective. To me the very very end (like final chapter end) of FT was better as well, but only for the fact that it made room for the 100YQ. But overall i do think that Bleach final arc has more quality.
Because that's so much, from the beginning of the arc to its end, everything goes too fast.
Already with avatar, certainly he has the excuse to be a return arc of training, but Natsu who bones the god was bad, there will have to be a little more tension in this fight.
The beginning of the beginning of Alvarez, in Caracola Island it was going well rhythm.
The problem occurs after, because scripting ease Non stop:
They already arrive at the capital at the right time or makarof is on the terrace with zeref.
The Laxus team arrives right at the right time for the rescued, while they had no info on where makarof was.
The war begins, the only 2 true fight in this war, Ajeel, fake Wal (and eilleen later), the pace was also going but more after.
Lucy with her stradress they are just shown we did not see the full potential that lucy could do with it.
Or even lucy just had no fight for her in 1 vs 1, a start with Brandish but that's it.
Such ease scriptwriting, ichiya launches the apelle world and everyone is ready to fight, while we are in the middle of the night but good.
These are the final enemie but they are almost all, OS without there is a real fight.
No tension for Dimaria / cherria, Whal gets done, OS with the new Laxus attack but without explanation.
Neihart with his similar historias, while there was way to lengthen this part, with the fight of gray and others.
Bloodman / gajeel ridicules the fight.
Jacob are fighting is a little spoiled because of loss of seriousness, he will have bled very well natsu and lucy remaining invisible.
Invel / gray ridiculous too, he takes himself 3 slams he is KO, gray does not even use his Demon slayer.
Dimaria promises an atrocious death to lucy, there it is mashima who did not assume the trashy side and it becomes a joke, while he had bled jubia and erza some chapter before.
Eilleen / erza, a real fight.
And there the fact that natsu decides to remain human, is not the problem in itself, but that's what happens next for the conclusion that is wrong.
And the rest remains in this logic to go too fast.
In EZ it's the same way too fast and for 100 there are people who complained because there was 2 transitional chapter and so people complained that it was not going fast enough.
For Bleach certainly kubo was sick but his excuse not all because well before the final fight a hundred chapters or it told nothing and wasting time.
And suddenly the final fight is rush for nothing.
Naruto the same, his aurau ended with madara, but long before that Kishimoto changed the whole story of Kaguya, + the two brothers.
And so it gives a hollow character who does not speak and is empty.
Actuellemnt for Food wars it's the same everything goes too fast, we remove the explcation, the foodgasme, we turn personal like that.
In magi, there is not even a final fight.
In NNT, of course, the author made a twist with the "end", but that does not change anything for the "final" fight that there was.
And so in the final it starts to make a lot of manga acceleration on their end, while it is precisely the only Arc that should not be accelerated.
Even if admitting that Mashima was close to doing EZ, his excuse did not rush the final comabt like that.
This is the fault of him or his boss or boss who do not do their job properly.
