Lol, it's fine. I had a feeling plustenken was you. The wave of "internal" dura wank from OP fanboys is coming anyway.@Jko
So like, I forgot the password to my plustenken account and I lost the random email I made for it so I can't respond to that Gildarts v Erza + Mira thread atm.

Acno is one thing but when they try using it on Aldoron it is truly hilarious. A dragon that is made out of wood does not need internal organs lmao.Lol, it's fine. I had a feeling plustenken was you. The wave of "internal" dura wank from OP fanboys is coming anyway.
"Where's Acno internal durability? Mountain+ level hits from internal attacks. Killer has sonic powers that bypass external dura so how is Acno gonna survive that?!"![]()
Lol, people actually think OP characters stand a chance against high tier FT characters?Lol, it's fine. I had a feeling plustenken was you. The wave of "internal" dura wank from OP fanboys is coming anyway.

Yes, lol. They'd literally "calc" OP at ludicrous levels when no one in the verse has even completely destroyed an island.... They tried to put Kaido at large country for picking up Onigashima with some wind clouds...Lol, people actually think OP characters stand a chance against high tier FT characters?![]()
I guess they'll come up with some convoluted "calcs" to justify it, smh.

I remember when one of those fools posted a pic of Luffy destroying that tree and trying to say he could do the same to Aldo. The arguing of split dura to other verses bcs OPverse has it is hilarious. It's not our fault Oda wants to make their internals weak af compared to their external dura lol.Acno is one thing but when they try using it on Aldoron it is truly hilarious. Killer > anyone in FT

I think the 100 Year Quest will be 150 - 175 chapters. One thing I wonder is how long 100 Year Quest is going to be. I mean, there are three Dragon Gods left, so it's clearly going to be going on for at least a 100 chapters total, but I doubt it will break 200, probably it'll be around 150. I think the Selene arc will be finished in about another twenty to thirty chapters (give or take), and then they'll move onto the Viernes arc (I highly doubt Ignia won't be the last), which will probably be about the same length, maybe a bit shorter, and then they'll do Ignia. However, it seems strange that they'd beat Ignia, and then everything would just sort of end. It wouldn't be much of a finale, so I'm guessing there will be some kind of addition to it.
I read one theory that Elseferia has an ulterior motive for wanting to seal the dragons, like the seal he looks at is actually a locked door, and defeating the dragons unlocks it.
I think it does bare mentioning that Mashima is supposedly only doing the storyboarding, with Ueda doing most of the work. I take that to mean that Mashima is giving the story it's outline (basically the conflict of each arc), while Ueda writes the individual scenes, and of course the artwork.
That's probably a good estimation. I have no idea what the other arcs are going to entail, but my current guess is that the next several chapters will take place in the caves, where Natsu and Gray beat (and presumably turn back) their yokai-transformed friends, presumably being saved or helped by Faris and Touka with the rest of Whiteout; after that, Selene will decide that they're no longer entertaining, and probably order the Moonlit Beauty Goddesses to deal with them again. They'll either have their fight in the caves, or somewhere else, and after the Goddesses are beaten, then Selene will act, and it'll probably require another team effort to bring her down.I think the 100 Year Quest will be 150 - 175 chapters.
I don't think the arcs will consistently increase in length like that (mostly because I don't know how you can drag each one out that much, unless you give both Ignia and Viernes a whole bunch of lackeys). For better or worse, Mashima generally outlines his stories with how ever much time he thinks he needs, so I don't think each arc necessarily has to be longer; bare in mind, according to the Wiki, Tenrou Island was 54 chapters, the GMG arc was 83, the Sun Village was 15, and the Tartaros was 62 (he didn't break 100 chapters until the last arc). Also, I'd argue the Aldoron arc started with Chapter 27 and ended with chapter 64, equating to about 38 chapters.I had said between 25-30 volume or 210-250 chapter (we ended tenro at 30) hoping that the arc is longer and longer.
Mecphobia: chapter 4 - 24 = 20 chapter.
Aldron: 27-62 = 35 chapter.
Selene 68 -?, If its done the same 15 more chapters can be 50 chapters in all for selene.
Ignia: same if there are 15 more chapters its 65.
Viernes: the same would make 80 chapter.
Final boss: maybe not 95 chapter XD, but to see
Already the narration is going way too fast for me and he said it would be a long spin off, so everything is relative in what he means by long.
I think there will be 6 arcs, the 5 for the dragon + the last one against the final boss whether it is Ank or elséfira or other.
But there we start selene and we are at 8 volume so logically without the arc being longer as there will be at least 16 to make the 5 dragons which is quite short in itself.
This is why the arc must be longer.
It's very easy to lengthen them without necessarily giving minions a very simple trick that mashima zaps each time and does the same with EZ:I don't think the arcs will consistently increase in length like that (mostly because I don't know how you can drag each one out that much, unless you give both Ignia and Viernes a whole bunch of lackeys). That six arcs is a good guess, since I feel like it would be strange not to have a final boss (though admittedly it's not like one's being built up like how Zeref and Acnologia were), but I'm still going to guess it's going to be between 150 and 175 chapters.
I'm hoping for 200 chapters. With a weekly release I hope they'll consider. One thing I wonder is how long 100 Year Quest is going to be. If it's 200 chapters, then this manga isn't going to be done until probably 2025 (yes I did the math, yes I'm an enormous nerd). That would give it a run of nearly eight years, almost as long as it's parent series, which had more than twice the amount of chapters. I would just find that so funny.I'm hoping for 200 chapters. I would have said the animated 100 quest for the 20th anniversary of FT, or in 5 years. If it's 200 chapters, then this manga isn't going to be done until probably 2025 (yes I did the math, yes I'm an enormous nerd). That is of course, unless they start releasing it weekly (this year will be FT's 15th anniversary in August, so if any year warranted it for a time, it'd be this one); I don't know what would motivate them to start doing that though, aside from a lot of their fans just really wanting it. I feel Mashima could be up for it (he's one of the hardest working mangakas these days), and so would Ueda, but even if they are, I don't know if the publishers would be.
That would actually be a good announcement for an anniversary (even the 15th one). Granted, it all depends on whether or not any production company is up for it. I don't know what the anime's ratings were in Japan, but the fact that Fairy Tail had three different adaptations' each with a different animation companies, means to me that they aren't particular enthusiastic about it. If EDENS ZERO is a success, then I can see a successful push for a 100 Year Quest adaptation.I would have said the animated 100 quest for the 20th anniversary of FT, or in 5 years.
Hoping that the manga is not finished but within 5 years there will be more than enough chapter to start the anime whether it is a season or a river.
After FT remains a big license it's not a random manga so good. That would actually be a good announcement for an anniversary (even the 15th one).
