So again we go "Its better because I say so", so than show me your pulitzer prize or other writer award that prove that your qualified to pass this judgment.
If not your words are no better than mine, mine are at least back up with facts and statistics.
More risks? as in let me kill off characters so i don't have to develop them.
better written? because it's planed out? What was it you were saying about Cure "Grey villain that surely important to story" he and Acnoelas fast defeat was planed from the start. Hiro announcing: "Cures backstory was made on the spot and Acnoella fight was supposed to be long and intense but cut short because of pacing", so much for planed. Funny, how Hiro unintentionally shuts down all his defenders
To prove that sales don't show quality you must present other proves like awards or ranks that make it substantial. The only 2 things I found about Space Manga is 10th most watched Late Night Anime episode in may 2021 and 8th most watched Animated show on Netflix in Colombia (or was it Costa-Rika sorry cant remember) for 1 week.
meanwhile FT
Fairy Tail won Best Manga Series of 2008 at the 2009 Anime & Manga Grand Prix held by French magazine AnimeLand. It also won the 2009 Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen manga. It also won Best Shōnen Manga at the 2009 Japan Expo Awards and also Volume 9 of the manga was nominated in the Youth Selection category at the 2010 Angoulême International Comics Festival. there are others but most of them include best selling so I wont include them.
Bottom line, FT partially succeeds in what it supposed to, While Space Manga not.
Your comparison and judgment is similar to saying some Random average Basketball player is better than Messi even thought he earns less money, purely because you like basketball more than soccer. Basketball player has no grand achievements aside from player of the match couple of times, While Messi has golden ball, boot, champions league and world cup.
Fact that he was "Ordered" to do differently and not decided on his own, is a subtle give away that higher ups aren't happy.
