He is an established (?) manga-ka who has been in the business for 7 years. His previous work is Rave (or in Englisih it's called Rave Master), which was serialized in Shounen Magazine since 1999. I heard there was exact same discussion (he stole Oda's artwork) was done when he first started Rave, too.

Wh00t....Fairy Tail is good, I liked the beginning better than Rave's beginning (much more interesting)...but Salamander is a lot like Luffy...

this is awesome

I was like... Wait... has One Piece finished or has the manga-ka started another project... looked close and still thought it was his work. read it. still convinced it was his work. then went on this forum and now I know its not. ^^

and that is my epic journey to find out that Fiary Tail is not by the One Piece Manga-ka

Wow, this manga is really interesting. Most first chapters of mangas are horribly boring but this gets right into it. The art style really reminds me of One Piece and sort of with the story too. Good luck on future chapters.
