Does anyone know what the deal is with this kinana girl? According to the wikia she is supposed to be cuberius and has since joined the guild and make appearances in the manga. Is she supposed to be a cannon character with that particular backstory (if she appears in the manga she is cannon but her backstory cannot be confirmed in the manga so far). Has she appeared elsewhere?

She's one of the background characters based off Mashima's assistants. In the back of volume 21 I think it was, he gave guild cards for all of them, here's hers.

Yes she is. Big group panel, sitting next to Alzack. She was also in a chapter or two ago with Fairy Tail at the edge of the guild spectators.

I admit to being curious about the abilities Charle and Panther Lily have. I think your theory has merit, it makes some valid arguments and provides a reasonable explanation for what we've seen. We've seen Exceed that have developed abilities, others should be capable of doing the same. Although, I think if Happy every develops a secondary ability it is likely to be something hilarious rather than particularly useful. An ability that requires very specific conditions to be battle relevant, but is usually completely ridiculous, would fit in with Happy's character.

This is certainly interesting. If the Zentopia arc can be counted as canon, this means that Exceeds can access a secondary power, but there would be at least 2 conditions: 1. Said Exceed must have enough talent. 2. Their magic container must be particularly large.

As for Happy's secondary ability, yeah... I think that it's going to be something awesome but impractical in most situations .

how cool would it be if happy could be able to transform into a battle form not like lily's but into a fierce roaring four legged big cat beast like a panther which is blue lol but doesnt really suit happy since hes too cute <3

i always thought plue from rave would transform into something majestic but he didnt and maybe thats happy's fate too =/

what if lucy is layla but with manipulated memory (same goes for her "father")?
don't say it's impossible: mest will have a talk with you

for now we know:
that zeref knows natsu but not vice versa
zeref should be >400 years old
natsu being >80 years old
all the dragons(except acno..forgot the name, I mean the black dragon) disappearing on 7/7/777
same day when lucy's mother "died"

what if lucy is also from that era (or atleast reincarnated)?
(assuming natsu and co. are really >400 years old)

interesting but i dont really see the point in it though.I know we cant trust ovas but if u watched in the third one Lucy went back in time and she saw herself in child form, cant be layla=lucy 100%. Cant say about the rearcarnation part though...

I wonder if zeref in his prime had like a rival who fought with him, would be cool if that would be mavis

to be honest i always thought layla was from that era but there is something about lucy we are missing dn yet to fins ou and i guess only knowing what happened to layla and the dragons will answer us. it would be funny if zeref was all like 'o-o layla???' when he meets lucy (i guess this is kind of foreshadowed)

It may feel corny because it's so stereotypical, something that's been overused before in shoujo mangas or animes before. It also surprised me because the development between the two is too fast.

well, they just got a crush on each other, elfman seems to have released it but ever seems less convinced, they're a good pairing, i'd feel it was rushed if they kissed or went goo goo on each other already.

Plus this isn't a shoujo mashima wont delve that much into romance although he does it more than other shonen would.

How long do you think Fairy Tail is going to go on for

Just wondering what other people thoughts were. Me personally, I think Fairy Tail is going to end soon because I don't see what the Author can do after FairyTail eventually becomes #1 again?

Obviously, it's not going to end anytime soon, since I think we are just at the beginning stages of the manga's main plot.

After all, Fairy Tail becoming first again, doesn't have much do to with Lucy's and Natsu's story, who are, the main hero and heroine of this manga, and their story, in my opinion, most likely involves Zeref, who said that Natsu is the only one who could kill him, is related with the dragons disappearance, and is most likely going to be involved with saving the Fairy Tail world, from some sort of crisis, which is most likely going to be revealed during the current arc, with this entire Eclipse plan.

And there also definitely going to be added some additional side stories to this context, which will most likely lengthen the manga even more.

In my opinion, we are, only at, more or less, the half point of the manga, and there are still a lot of chapters, before this manga is going to end.

3-the sky dragon Grandine
4-the iron dragon Metallicana
5-the unknown dragon parent to rogue and sting (supposedly deceased or rather MURDERED )
6-I'm assuming the dragon on the mural is a new one, he resembles none and maybe it's whats hidden in the gate

We have five fr sure but that makes potentially six (or seven if sting and rogue had two parents but they mentioned parent it think)

Well seeing how FT became the #1 guild after the war against phantom, becoming #1 again doesn't mean that it's the end, evidently. In fact there's still much that is unresolved, I do however understand your thoughts since everything seem to get in motion; Laxus is all friendly, Makarov has chosen an heir, Mystogan is no longer a mystery, Zeref has arrived and started to move, RT got crushed, the dragon king festival is upon us and Lucy has almost collected all the keys. However as I stated before there are still some things left, first of all I want to highlight Tartaros the last guild of the balam alliance, a guild Mashima just can't forget, then there's the lumen histoire which I think will have it's own arc, which may include a return from RT since they more or less promised to come back and then there's of course the Dragon/Layla saga which will probably be much longer than any before. So, all in all I think there's plenty of pages left to be read.
