So, in my boring times, I rewatched Sirius Island arc I think Lucy and Cana friendship has more chemistry than Lucy with Erza or Wendy. Damn, they need more screentime. And after watching Azuma vs Mira I was contemplating and wondering why Mira is such left behind Erza, I was thinking because Mira was on hiatus for 2 years. Probably that. Damn, just imagine if she wasnt...

I also watched Zoldeo vs Loke. I was wondering why Zoldeo wanted to kill Lucy, while in Alvarez arc it's revealed that he loved Layla. But then Capricorn said he fell in darkness. I guess that's the reason. Probably that.

If you notice closely you will see that like Edens Zero FT 100 YQ too has a declining trend in sales,at least in the first 3 volumes.This is a bit surprising considering that the sequel has been better than the Alvarez Arc.

But i guess the reason is obiously that ueda's artstyle doesn't compare hiro-sensei's which is sad! I wish he was he drawing FT100YQ simply because his art is second to none!

I don't think so,Ueda's art isn't bad,it is exactly like Mashima's to me.Also art being low quality is not a factor of low sales to me,i mean both Attack on Titan and Hunter x Hunter has low quality art but still are one of the highest selling manga of all time and sold much more than FT.


What I think is the problem

i)It is published in an app so viewer exposure is low.

ii) The current plot line isn't popular among the readers.

His art is good but I won't consider him to be the best,I can think of at least 4 authors whose art is on a higher tier than Mashima.

D Gray Man is one such example i can think of you mean purely Battle Shounen.

Another one is The Promised Neverland, though it isn't a pure battle shounen.

But if you mean Seinen series there are quite a few.

Mira is only top 12. I think she was in top 7 in 1st popularity poll nevertheless still good job even she got less screen time in alvarez arc.
