Did Mashima really know what Dark Fantasy is ? Because just making the protagonist more violent towards his ennemies doesn't mean it's DF hell how can you call this DF when the ecchi is basically what you can see in shonen , seriously did Mashima read some real DF like Berserk, Claymore, Ubel Blatt or The Arms Peddler ? I'm not saying he sould do the same thing but damn can you at least take some inspiration from them.

Well in that case Dead Rock will be more "a dark shonen" (don't know if this term exist) than Dark Phantasy because damn for a Dark Phantasy the protagoniste is very sociable it will be the first time I saw a Dark Phantasy with a MC not being cold and being a totally asshole or with a cold behavior like Guts, Claire, Koinzell and Garami.

Well I think Athena's death resume how I think the arc will become , now she is "dead" it's counter attack time be ready for the bullshit Signario's sisters defeat by mary sue BS called Erza who can apparently now defeat ennemies with power of imagination (first Misaki now these two) GS why I smell Natsu will beat him well I will not be suprised because he is just a puppet and just like Historia he's weak now and the Duke I don't know why do I think he will fuse with Viernes or be kill by him, well in the end probably end like the Labytinth's arc not very good with maybe Ignia coming to say "hello".

EDIT:Oh yeah in the end Athena will become a completly good guy for sure and I'm sure she will be repeair by Elesferia and she's going to help Natsu and co to stop Duke and Viernes (if he appears in this arc).

Well from the time she said "the only limit to my power is my imagination" it means what it means she doesn't even need to think about sealing magic chains she can just imagine some chains and said "you can't use you're magic" or "you can't use you're magic to destroy them" and hop her opponent is defeated if we stay logic that's how it sould work but of course it will make her invincible so you still need BS moments to defeat her.

Both are bullshit as hell lol. But the fact that Hiro forced himself to invent a hyper-strong, "Acnologia-complimented" mother to find an excuse for his BS already screams at me that Erza is FT's greatest Mary Sue. Her fight against Misaki is an example of the flaws in Erza's fights lol.
